I'm building a competive team for the battle tower and tournys and since I dont like using Pokemon from the Overused tier (it makes competitire battling boring when everyone uses the same pokemon), I have decided on Froslass. The problem I'm having is that I don't know if I should make it an Annoyer or Mixed Sweeper, or Special Sweeper.

I'm stuck between the following movesets...

Annoyer - This one will lead off, it either kills the opponents lead or both perish with destiny bond.
Froslass@BrightPowder
Timid Nature
252 SPD/252 SP ATK/4 HP
Block
Confuse Ray/Double Team/Hail
Ice Beam (Stab)
Destiny Bond

This is one is a Mixed Sweeper.
Froslass @ Choice Scarf
Rash/Mild Nature
212 SP ATK/144 ATK/152 SPD
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Wake-Up Slap (Those pokes that use Rest)
-Destiny Bond

Then we have the Special Sweeper.
Froslass @ Choice Specs
Timid Nature
252 SPD/252 SP ATK/4 HP
-Ice Beam/Blizzard
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-HP Fighting/Light Screen/Destiny Bond

which one do you guys recommend?....feel free to add different moves...>.<

Well, certainly not the Mixed Sweeper...other two are good though. Annoyer's the best bet though, with either Confuse Ray (perhaps with Leftovers instead of Brightpowder) or with Double Team (keeping the Brightpowder)

what about a spiker?
you keep thunderbolt and ice beam, and destiny bond. you had spikes. because of his ghost typing, he can set up 3 layers of spikes without pokemon rapid spinning them away.
otherwise the first moveset is the best with confuse ray

I wpould suggest maybe hypnosis if you can to add to the annoyer. then you would be UBER

I wish it could learn hypnosis...but it can't...which is dumb cuz it can learn dream eater

I like the Annoyer moveset, probably because I use my Froslass for the same thing, the lack of being able to learn hypnosis really annoyed me.

I'd probably go for Confuse Ray/Attract rather than Double Team/Hail (but maybe that's just because those really annoy my boyfriend, who is my main opponent :) )

I really like the annoyer set up as well. With the great base speed as well as her nice base HP value they would be super assets.

I do like the move set but I think I would take Sanjose's suggestion but stick it in the annoyer. Spikes to start off would be kinda neat and then destiny bond. If not spikes then I would stick to the confuse ray as well. Hail I wouldn't want cause anyone with leftovers is going to negate quite a bit of that damage.

Thanks for the tips guys...i really appreciate it....

I already have a Spiker on my team so I dont need froslass to have it...

Froslass ability increases its evasion if its hailing, and with just 1 double team...it could be hard to hit.....so im stuck between so many good options

I think I will use teh annoyer but the I'm still undecided about the moveset...sigh

I definatley want Ice Beam for Stab, Block and Destiny Bond. But I'm feeling indesicive about the last move...>.<

but using hail might hurt your team if they arent ice types. i might not really matter but it could hurt a wall

You right, for hail to work effectively, I'd need Double Team as well, and I only have space for one move. So I think I'll stick with Confuse Ray

Thanx for all ur tips guys!!

just so you know if you want to battle in a tournament dont use double team. evasion increaser moves are always banned.

Haha....That's funny that you posted here today as I was looking at this earlier. Thanx for the warning...but I am aware of the tournament clauses....:)

What about Substitute for annoyer, instead of Block? I've never really used a Froslass...

Thanx for the input, but block works well with Destiny Bond. I've already built 2 Froslass's since this thread and moveset 1 has been working great.
