I was thinking that we could create one for platinum as well, seeing that the changes have made a great impact on the metagame. Members could battle it out using the new moves pokemon get in platinum, could also serve as research for using the new moves in the gyms and in the E4.

I for one, know that im going to have to carry a scizor counter from now on >.<

Moves wont be aloud until one month after the release (so 1 month from today) so people would probably be reluctant to change there pokes already. Plus not everyone would be able to participate. Also the moves wont have a massive impact really.

Oh yes they have matey :D

I can tell you almost every moveset is changed through platinum. New pokes have become OU and others UU due to Platinum

Not a massive impact? So salamance with dragon dance AND outrage isn't a big deal?

Some level up moves have also been moved around.

After 30 days go by everything in Platinum becomes legal on PokeFarm.

I thought that you weren't allowed to bring in a move tutored pokemon to the gym system alone :( and could have battles done by the ladder.

that was my whole point in creating the a new ladder just for platinum users. Even if members can't get platinum for any amount of reasons, there are people here that would move tutor the pokemon for them and then they'd happily battle.

The point I'm making is that it is only 29 more days before all of Platinum becomes legal. Why make a ladder that will only be needed for a month?
