P.S. The next pokemon will be revealed Dec. 1st and is meant to be christmas themed.

Thanks Buzz. Do you know how to get it onto the Carvanha though because I checked its moves on serebii to find that it can't learn ancient power?

Ancient Power would stop a lot of Carvanha's weaknesses.

Really? All I see it stopping is Bug...His other weaknesses are Electric, Grass and Fighting, right? What does Rock do against them? It's not very effective against Fighting, too.

And Sharktoothman: Carvanha learns Ancient Power as an Egg Move.

Just to make sure you get good moves on the baby by breeding two adults that have identical moves right. Answer if you know.

Ive been researching on serebii and have been working out a chain to get an amazing move set the new moves are:

Earthquake(take down electric)
Ancientpower( take down some type I forgot)
Aerial Ace( take down grass and fighting)
Ice Fang(also take down grass)

This is my very first time chaining too. There is a catch though to getting this amazing moveset though and that is that Im going to take a long time chaining due to the fact that most of the moves being chained in are learned in the 40s So please don't complain if I'm taking forever but in the end I think it will be worth it.

Carvanha learns Aerial Ace? That's perfect! It takes down Fighting, Grass AND Bug. You don't even need Ice Fang or Ancientpower anymore. Maybe you should breed it other moves instead? That's still a very good moveset. :)

Actually it doesn't learn aerial ace but thats why I need to use chaining

Hey Everybody I've just gotten to my second pokemon in my chain so it might be about another week before I finally finish since I had a project to do all of yesterday and I have been playing the game My Sims most of last week. But I'll still try to work on the carvanha as much as I can. Hopefully I'll be done by next Monday to start setting up trades. Just thought I'd let everyone know. I made a mistake in my breeding chain and carvanha won't have aerial ace now but I decided to replace it with night slash because...

wow now I have a bigger problem. when I did the breed from my relicanth to my carvanha it ended up without earthquake which I really need. :mad:Im pretty angry:mad:. well if anyone knows how to fix this then could you help me out. I really need help!:sad:

The simple answer may be, did it level up inside the daycare and learn a new move and lost its earthquake.

No that should not matter.

But I did find your answer.
Carvanha can't learn Earthquake. Sharpedo can, but not Carvanha.

ok everyone I have quite a few males now but so far no carvanha is a jolly nature so those two will have to wait a bit longer. and when I say none of the carvanhas I mean not a single one. not even female in which Iwould breed that one holding an everstone. And I have already filled an entire box with carvanhas! if you signed up for one make sure your name is on the pal pad on the first page if not PM me with ur name/FC so I can change that. Im hoping to have trades done soon so I can focus on breeding my next pokemon. Qwilfish :211:! I have the moveset planned and unlike the carvanhas they are for sure and I know they'll work. (I learned more about eggmoves since breeding carvanha). If you want you can post for the qwilfish but it would help if you wait until I finish with my trades so I don't get confused.
