Kinda a Survivor type thing, but I will plug it as Little Orts.

Anyway I have been thinking and discussing with the other gym leaders and have come up with, I want to have an assistant for the Little Gym.

I decided since I really don't know a lot of the new members and don't think it would be fair just to give the position to a veteran member just because I know them. I have decided to do a Survivor like event.

You don't need any gym badges. You don't even need to know how to battle. I will offer help to anyone wanting to join up and take the challenge. There will be a week long sign up. Which that will be followed up by a week long prep time. During the prep time you can build a team, revamp a team, ask questions, brainstorm, basically anything you need to do to have a team built and ready for the survivor challenge.

So sign ups start Thursday, May 7th and end Thursday, May 14th.

O.K. let me divulge a bit more information for this. After sign ups there will be a series of challenges setup by me. After each challenge there will be a member or 2 voted out by the other members. Each challenge will help the members with their decision on who to vote out.

Basically the challenges will be designed just like every event I have done in the Poké Academy, Battling Arts, Spawn, and many other events I have created.

Like I said, you won't need any battling experience, just the desire to learn and play the game.

This sounds like it could be a fair bit of fun. I also seem to fit in the lower range of people considering I don't have any gym badges, very little experience in battling and this being my very first post (I have been reading/viewing the site and forums for a week or two now so I registered).

This also seems to be a good way I could start to meet and interact with people on the forums (also to start posting). Plus this gym has seemed to have one of the more interesting concept and rules so that's also a positive.

I guess all the above is really just a long and nervous way of saying "Sure, sign me up".

rj61, team captain for the blue team makes his first selection from the list above. Then Empoleon67, team captain for the gold team, will make a selection for his team. They will alternate picks until only 1 person is left. Since there 11 people, that means 1 person will be eliminated after the team selection is finished.

Please remember that Whitdjinn is a filler contestant. He is already like a gym leader and runs some sort of league or something, so he most likely should be the first member eliminated.


You cannot make a pick until the other team makes their pick. So rj first, empo second, rj third and so on.

Also remember, at the end of the contest you will be going head to head no teams. Making friends or enemies can make or break you. Make friends and maybe nobody votes you out. Make enemies and maybe it is game over.

I have decided there will be no outside voting. You will see the voting during the first real head to head challenge.

You must choose, so choose wisely.

To be honest, I don't know either of the team leaders, so it's now a matter of knowing. There is only one person who is competeing that I have a rivalry with, and I hope Emp picks him. To be honest, I really don't know anyone here besides XD001.

But yeah, people choose to eliminate others, that may cause trouble if someone is like 'why!?' and then spams the people who voted him off. Fortunately, people will vote you off if you're a threat to their winnings or they will just vote you off because you're a slacker in the challenge, it seems the slackers are the first to go, then with more experienced challenges they vote off someone who is most likely to win, then alliances form yadda yadda yadda.

While this picking process is going about, you should read some manga, I don't know your age, so I can't really recommend any good ones.

The biggest thing you need to be a gym leader, in this case an assistant is the ability to keep your cool when things are not going your way. The is the first lesson I had to learn when I was selected as the Beacon gym Leader. The down in the dumps still pop up from time to time, but I am trying hard to control that.

There is a surprise at the end of team selection and yes the first challenge will be announced. The challenges will be rapid fire and not a long draw out event.

Yes this is built around a reality show, but as we all know Buzz has his own ideas, agendas, and puts a touch of Buzz into everything he does. ;)

A lot of you signing up are new to me. You may not have had the chance to experience all my antics. I have O.C.D., major depression, and a bit of an ego at times. When all these are pulling against each other I can be a bit eccentric.

Most people that overlook all that and know the real me; the medicated me, love me.

As I understand it you get to pick someone to join your team because you're basically on the "eliminated" team. Though if say Gold beat the Blue team (of course) they (Blue team) would have to vote one of their own off.
