Precious and I were wondering around the farm, when we saw a very frightening sight! Some of our freshly hatched lil ones were inside the Boulder Gym arena battling!
I began to rush into the arena to stop the madness, when Precious used Ice Beam to stop me dead in my tracks!! There I was frozen in the middle of my own gym arena, when these cute and cuddly babes were fighting it out mere hours after hatching out of the eggs.
I was shocked to see how skillful they were in using advanced moves, at their low level it was just amazing! I decided that would be my next offering, full teams of battle ready pokemon who just love to battle without any training at all!
Here are the details:
I will be offering 6 full teams of lil pokes who have movesets set to be usefull at the little battle level. By full teams I mean teams of 3, since that is what's allowed in our very own little battles gym.
The team:
Voltorb
Static/Soundproof
Moveset:
~Rain Dance
~Thunder
~Taunt
~Explosion
These lil guys are the fastest baby around, all will have a max speed stat (This does not mean max IV, in fact I'm not even checking IV's for this crowd since it is designed for little battles) and will at the very worst force a coin flip to go first. Taunt is there to try and halt any setup by the opposition, follow that with a Rain Dance to really get your mojo workin...after that you'll use thunder on anything weak to electricity or just esplode. Please note that explosion will faint the voltorb, but may not faint the opponent if it is resistant to normal attacks, or unaffected by them)
Horsea
Swift Swim
Moveset:
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Dragon Pulse
~Rain Dance
Assuming you were able to get rain dance off with Voltorb, you will be able to come in almost guaranteed to be faster than the opposition, short of them stopping the weather or having a faster swift swimer...The idea here is to cover as many types as possible - if you are lucky enough to have a beneficial hidden power, it may be wise to replace rain dance with that.
Makuhita
Thick Fat/Guts
Moveset:
Substitute
Belly Drum
Focus Punch
Bullet Punch
I call this guy my lil trump card, because if he is able to set up properly, there will be little that can stop it. First step is to substitute, if it holds up you're free to either belly drum or focus punch. Belly drum will max your attack stat to make things hit very very well. Bullet punch is there as apriority move, backed up with a Bullet Punch, this should suffice to KO anything that doesn't resist it. (I haven't tested EVERYTHING, but on paper it works really well)
And there you have it. This is the team that will be given away to the winners of the trivia contests. This event will begin at approximately 8:00pm Central time tonight, at which point I will post the trivia questions. The first six people to give me the correct answers, will win a full set of all 3 of these pokes.
Best of Luck!
