Battling Arts Bull Run #1 Official Thread

Ok, the pairings have been made! and here they are:

Viperizer + Cisco
Empoleon67 + Trombones13
BlueTempest + Master
Trish + Rayfox-Kun
GangstaPikachu + Paiopa
Cowmoo83 + Bumbee

rj61 + Wicked_Rapture

now that the pairings are made, be sure to check in with your tutor and beginning learning/ beginning your teams.

You are expected to finish at minimum one pokemon/session (sessions are 2 weeks each).

Tournament begins Monday the 25th at 6pm.

Good luck with your teams and make sure to communicate- I will be checking in to make sure that everyone is working frequently throughout the sessions to make sure that stuff is happening and nobody ends up quitting at the very end like last time.

Oh yeah! Remember that if your tutor isn't on or if you want a second opinion, you can talk with another tutor.

Um for the tournement can i not take part or use shoddy as i can`t make the actual team on my ds since i am not ready in diamond and don`t have platinum yet.

Also i have too much else in pearl.

Providing you have internet, Shoddy battle will run.

If your game works, you can also breed.

You'll do fine with what you've got :)

shoddy battle is a great place to test your team against other competitive teams. It also helps you learn without having to breed everything.

I would suggest downloading it.

@Viperizer: to use it, go to the smogon server, register, then create a team. Save the team, and then begin to battle!

If anyone have trouble working out the Shoddy interface, you can PM your tutor. If your tutor is unable to help, you can come asking me (or if your tutor isn't online). It is an extraordinary tool for team building, which is arguably the hardest part of battling.

Thank you for showing interest in Battling Arts! We will be holding sign-ups for our next session as soon as this one is over. I encourage ANYONE to apply, so long as you feel you have something to be gained from participating.

Do keep in mind that it is possible you may be paired with a tutor that may not be as 'accomplished' with badges and such, but will be able to share their knowledge freely.

I'm very sorry but I'm going to have to drop out...i know it's late and even thought i haven't been on the site in a while i still had intention of participating but when i checked i noticed that i had lost my wi-fi connection....i have tried several times and cannot get it back so with no wi-fi i cannot battle....sorry for the inconvenience. :'(
