As the previous poll has closed, Politoed emerged the clear winner!

There are two options for moveset that I have been looking at, with only a couple of differences as Surf/Ice Beam is standard and Breeding for a Hidden Power in multiples doesn't sound very appealing...


Here are the two options:

Modest (Bulky Sweeper)
252 spec atk/152 hp/106 spec def
Surf
Ice Beam
Psychic
Toxic/Hypnosis

Calm (More support/special wall)
252 HP/252 Spec Def/6 spec atk
Surf
Ice Beam
Refresh
Toxic

The modest set is very close to what I run on Precious, and the Calm set gets max bulkiness to toxic as much as it can, and to survive as long as possible - refresh gets rid of its own poison to help vs. other water types.

I like the Bulky set--Hypnosis is nice (though Toxic wouldn't be bad either), and Psychic is something I don't have a lot of with my Pokemon. :-D

Well, I think its obvious who's going to win, so last night I started the breeding for this event. Had some pretty good luck, so there will be some very nice politoeds to go around!

my next event will be a johto poke, actually and I already know what its going to be! Hopefully it works like I want it to, as I dont have a ton of experience with the species i'm thinking of.


By the way - this event is now closed. Those who have PM'd me for a poliwag will be collecting those soon (i hope) and I still have one orphan poliwhirl to give out to. Please get ahold of me this weekend as I'll be home the majority of both days.
