I used to watch/read anime/manga, but I don't really anymore.
I do occasionally, but not really. I'm not sure why, I just kinda became less interested in it as time passed.

well i read and watched the manga Beck: mongolian chop squad which revolves around a kid who learns to play guitar and starts a band , so i was wondering if there was others similar to it.. i had heard of one called pollifonica but didnt look much into it yet.

Right now, I'm ready all the basic shonen stuff... naruto, one piece, Ultimo, Bleach, Tegami Bachi... and I have been reading Bakuman online (It's so awesome!)

Haha, I just watched the first episode of Detroit Metal City. It was quite funny, although the lyrics to the songs were a little.. off the wall.

yes i love anime.My favorites so far are Kiba,full metal alchemist,eureka 7,naruto,bleach,rosario+vampire(do not watch as it is inappropriate),maburaho(do not watch as it is inappropriate),gundam 00,Kurokami,code geass,and more i cant think of the names.Be careful if you watch any of these because a lot of them do speak inappropriately and act inappropriately.

There's this one movie-length anime called Interstella 5555, about an alien rock band that gets kidnapped for nefarious purposes and is rescued by a space pilot who's a big fan. There's other stuff that goes on, but I won't post any spoilers. :D

The two odd things about it: All the music is by Daft Punk, because they hired a Japanese animation house to make the anime as a sort of movie-length music video.

The second odd thing is that there is absolutely NO dialogue, either in Japanese or English. You have to watch and figure out what's going on, and draw your own conclusions.

You can get it both off Amazon and on YouTube...I watched it on YT first, then liked it enough to buy it.

I'll say I like both, yet if I had to choose one or the other it would defiantly be Anime due to the lack of reading manga's I do read and the overall concept of it is more relaxing to me to watch opposed to read; don't need to think as much and there is color/music. :P
