I Love Poké mons: Challenge 2

This second challenge will require you to breed a Pokémon, well on paper anyway. You will PM me your Pokémon, little battle Pokémon. You will list, Nature, moves, and how the Pokémon obtained the moves. I will then look over each and make my decision on who I think is best, but then I will post a poll to see what everyone else thinks.

How long do we have before we need to get this finished? Plus can we ask for or give help to fellow team members? These are just some of the questions that come to mind before I get planning a Pokemon.

Shouldn't take me too long to think of one Little Battle Pokemon, hopefully.

I didn't mean it to sound like they were bad. I am starting to get an idea of who is really into this game and would make a great assistant. Yeah only 2 challenges in I can see a gap forming in the competition.

Let me see. It is now 2 days past the suggested deadline. I don't believe I will be getting anymore PM's, so let's go with what we got.

Builder #1

Gastly - Levitate
Modest
Moves:

Will-o-Wisp / Nightmare
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Mean Look


To get these moves I would bread a male Will-O-Wisp Dusclops with my female Gengar then level up the newly bred male Gastly to level 33 so that it learns all three moves; Dream Eater, Hypnosis and Mean Look. I will then breed this male Gastly with the previously mentioned female Gengar to get a Gastly with all 4 moves.

I would like to apologies for all the trouble, I hope this isn't too confusing. Its just I'd really like to go far in this competition but lately I've just been hitting a few speed bumps, thats all. Hope I can move on to the next round! And to get nightmare I would just level up my gastly to level 43 then breed it with my Gengar which already knows Nightmare.Builder #2

Swords Dance boosts my Attack, and F.Punch and T.Punch land heavy blows, STAB with Fire Punch and a good anti-Flying/Water Punch too. I couldn't decide either Aerial Ace or U-Turn. If I do win, I'll work on it.Builder #3

First breed A male Bannete With Faint attack and Shadow ball* with a female duskull till you get a male duskull,It should now know Faint Attack and Shadow Ball.Level the baby duskull up till it learns both Confuse ray and Will-o-Wisp,and breed it with a female duskull knowing both confuse ray and Will-o-Wisp.and your baby should know all 4 moves.
*This can be done with Spirtomb however Bannete is prefered due to it learning Shadow Ball via level up Builder #5

To be honest, I thought I would find myself writing about the greatly esteemed: Lee Yen. However, I felt it to be too unoriginal to pick her. So, lets go for a change of pace:

Pokemon: Eevee

Nature: Jolly

Ability: Adaptability

Moveset:
Return (TM)
Flail (Egg)
Bite (Lv)
Quick Attack (Lv)

How:

Step 1: Obtain one female Eevee (preferably of the Jolly nature). You can do this by:
1: accepting one from Bebe in Hearthome City, or
2: capturing one eevee from the Trophy Garden (either male or female)
2a: If male, breed with a ditto, found on Route 218 (preferably one with a Jolly nature; it is recommended to have a Jolly synchronizer as your lead if you are going ditto hunting). Breed your male eevee and your Jolly ditto (who should be holding an everstone) until you successfully hatch a female eevee, with a Jolly nature
2b: If hunting only for a female eevee, it is recommended to have a Jolly synchronizer as your lead.

Step 2: Save this female Jolly eevee in a safe place(let it hold an everstone, as to not forget).

Step 3: Obtain one of the following pokemon that can learn Flail through leveling up, that are members of the Field egg group without having to chain breed the move (The level in which the move Flail is learned, will be listed next to each pokemon, along with their location):

1: Dunsparce (Lv 53) (Route 208 during swarm)
2: Phanpy (Lv 6) (Route 207 during swarm)
3: Donphan (Lv 1) (Evolve Phanpy)
4: Zigzagoon (Lv 33) (Route 202 during swarm)
5: Slakoth (Lv 43) (Eterna Forest during swarm)
6: Slaking (Lv 43) (Evolve from Vigroth)
7: Torkoal (Lv 52) (Outside Stark Mountain and Route 227, both requiring the use of the Poke Radar)
8: Spinda (Lv 50) (Route 227 during swarm)

Using a Spinda is the best choice to obtain a Field pokemon with the move Flail. When you capture Spinda at Level 55, it will automatically know the moves: Psych Up, Double Edge, Flail, and Thrash.

Step 4:
Once you have acquired your pokemon with the move Flail teach it Return, via TM.

Step 5:
With your new male pokemon, knowing the moves Return and Flail breed this pokemon with your female eevee which you stored away in Step 2.

Step 6:
Select both a Male and Female Eevee that you have bred, whose IVs work best with the speed and attack stat.

Step 7:
Raise both the male and female eevee up to level 25, where their final moveset should be as follows:
Return(through TM breeding), Flail (Through Egg breeding), Quick Attack (through Lvling up), and Bite (through Lvling up).

Step 8:
Breed these two parents to your heart's content. All Eevee offspring will be the final moveset:

Pokemon: Eevee

Nature: Jolly

Ability: Adaptability

Moveset:
Return (TM) (STAB, MEGA power boost when combined with adaptability)(Make sure to raise happiness to the max before bringing this guy to battle)
Flail (Egg) (STAB, to be used if eevee survives to one HP, plus, MEGA power boost when combined with adaptability)
Bite (Lv) (for those annoying ghost types trying to be killjoys)
Quick Attack (Lv) (STAB, take weak foes out in one hit, plus, MEGA power boost when combined with adaptability)

Budew
Nature: Serious/Hardy etc.
Ability: Natural Cure

Moves:

Leaf Storm - Easiest pokemon to use as a father seems to be Turtwig who learns it at just 45 (and doesn't require a stone to evolve to get said move).

Stun Spore - Bit fuzzy on how to breed level up moves but it seems to be if both parents know them. Hopefully that's right.

Protect - TM

Shadow Ball - TM, Poison and Psychic don't seem to get along so this should hopefully deal with them. Builder #7

Tentacool
Nature: Calm
Move 1: Confuse Ray
Move 2: Sludge Bomb
Move 3: Surf
Move 4: Giga Drain

Tentacool learns Confuse Ray by breeding with either Lileep or Cradily. Giga Drain through TM19, Sludge Bomb through TM36 and Surf through HM03.Builder #8

Pokemon: Smoochum
Ability: Forewarn
Nature: Hardy ~so that you don’t damage the power of fake out

Steps:

1. M Togetic w/wish -> F Skitty
2. M Skitty must remember Fake out using heart scale
3. M skitty w/wish + Fake Out -> F Spinda
4. M Spinda must teach Psychic using TM, as well as hidden power(if you wish to have hidden power instead of Ice Beam)
5. M Spinda w/ wish + Fake Out + Psychic + (maybe hidden power) -> Jynx
6. = Smoochum w/ wish + Fake Out + Psycic + Hidden Power
7. If you wish to, buy a TM and teach smoochum Ice Beam manually.

Do we have to wait or can I just declare meeker and the blue team the winner again?

If so the blue team must choose their battle master, it cannot be the same person as the last challenge. So anyone from the blue team can be BM except meeker this round.

Gold team you must now choose 3 members from your team to go up for elimination.

If you cannot choose 3 members as a team by Sunday night, the blue team's BM will make the decision for you.

Yes, each member should PM their vote to the original captain or one member in general.

Which I would think everyone would vote for themself to be BM, but now that meeker is not allowed this round, that should give vote to another member.

Which with the losing team, each member should send their vote of 3 members from their team that should go up for elimination to one member.

I don't really like the idea. 1) I don't really see what that has to do with being an assistant. 2) What if you aren't very good at graphics eh?

I'm not sure about the idea. Like rj said I don't think everyone has the knowledge to do it. I know I most likely wouldn't be able to make a gym badge.
