The NPCs in the Battle Tent can only be challenged once. They can also be attacked via the userlist and profile pages.
Any member with the initials "NPC" at the begining of their name is a non-player character and is outside of the bashing rules. Be warned, some of these folks are a lot tougher than you might think!
Also, be kind and don't attack them more than once a day. Let otherp layers have a crack at them too!

Now that all of the Pokemon have been entered into the game (the magic of databases) expect to see the Battle Tents reopen!
The way they will work is very simple.
1. You enter the tent and pay a fee that varies based on the town you are in.
2. Along with the fee you will spend X energy and X will.
3. You pick a Pokemon to battle with
4. The game picks a Pokemon to battle against you using the base stats of the Pokemon you picked as a guide. Expect your opponent's Pokemon to be within +/- 20 points of base total points. So, if your Pokemon's base stats equal 250 your opponent's Pokemon will fall in the range of 230 - 270 total base stats.
5. The game will then take the levels of training applied to your Pokemon, average them, apply a difficulty modifier based on the town and assign levels to the opponent's Pokemon.
6. A battle will then commence using the current battle system.
7. If you win you get double the energy, will and money spent on the challenge.
I hope to have the Battle tents open this evening. Do not be surprised if you find yourself fighting Pokemon that you have not seen yet.

Sounds freakin' sweet - even though I can't take full advantage of it at this point in the game, I can't wait :D

Okay bug number 1 (And 2 i think) found.
The ability to enter the tent with 0 energy, however when you enter (It still takes cash) you have -5 energy.
Round 1:
Charmander has 0HP remaining
Meowth has xxHP remaining (Can't remember the HP, but it was full)
This may have happened because of bug 1
[EDIT]: Found out that my charmander had 0 HP anyways. Just 1 bug.

I'm getting some very interesting results based on training spreads on my Pokemon.
For example, a fast pokemon with stats heavy on atk/spa often results in a one round kill or a 2 round loss.
Balanced pokemon tend to result in long battles that can go either way.

Hmm... Well this could be helped you know, the one round kill thing.
What if you limited the amount of points in a certain stat to the level of the poke?
This would mean the coding would probably have to be rewritten for levels, but heres an example.
Level 5 - Limited to 1 in each stat - 1 ATK - 1 DEF - 1 SPD e.t.c
Level 6 - Limited to 2 in each stat - 2 ATK - 2 DEF - 2 SPD e.t.c
You could also include that level 5's can only battle other level 5's, so there is no higher level insta kills.
The way its written right now though is every point in a stat equals a level, so you would definatly have to change it.
[EDIT]: Btw, you could also make it that when a level is maxxed out in points (Level 6 has all 2/2/2/2/2 then you can choose to click level up and advance the level

There already is a limit of 100 total levels for your Pokemon. I'm testing with extremes (30 lvls ATK and 10 lvls DEF) to see what effect there is on having unbalanced stat levels.
This results in variety of Pokemon. It would be boring if every Pokemon had balanced stat levels.

Maybe consider adding XP gain then? So that instead of paying excessive amounts of hard earned cash training your pokemon, when you battle in the tent, you gain XP?

For some reason I ended up losing 4K for battling. The reason is. I first clicked on battle tent, and it said go to battle tent, so I went again, then had to pay again, Then I though maybe refreshing would help, but when I refreshed it automaticly took 1K out. Then a found by clicking battle tent I can go there, But even that took 1K *Then I got owned*
Maybe make a clear button.
(Please & Thanks)
