K, I was looking to train up my pokemon. So I went to the training center with my metapod. And I looked, it was 312,500 to level up his HP (Which is level 2) 366,921 to level up his attack (which is level 3) 1,754,702, to level up his level 2 defense! 119,178 to level up his level 3 Sp. Attack. 126,974 to level his 3 Sp. Defense. 260,566 to level up his level 2 speed.

Now I don't know if it's just me, but I don't have millions to spend leveling up my low leveled metapod. And since prices go up as they level up, what does the mean how much more all be spending if I get the absurd amount of money to level it's stats up.

Anyone else agree that it should be a lot less to train your pokemon?

It gets cheaper as you level up and increase your own stats. Check the Guide area of the subforum for some excellent guides written by MissingNo.

which is why in my guide I recommend that you don't train your Pokemon until you reach higher Tiers.

I did not know this thanks. But still, even before it jumped like that it was still high. It was in the 20-60k which is still a lot. I'm just throwing it out there. I do have a hard time leveling up though...

At level 100 with your stats in the 1,500 range (your stats will probably be much higher at that point) it is possible to train a Pokemon to level 50 with only $30,000,000. That might sound like a lot of money to you now but higher tier missions give out a boatload of cash!

Yes; it seems high in the beginning but work on training your own stats in the gym and hold out on training your pokes until the prices come down. It soon becomes quite reasonable to train.

Plus, we don't want the game to be too easy, do we? That would be no fun! :)
