Yeah, I keep having my PokeBalls hit the rocks too. What if you could battle with the rocks you hit, so they're useful? ;)

No price drop necessary. Just get your levels up and you'll be making millions an hour.

Yeh ive had 15 tries and no pokemon. Can it be changed to more chance? As it does ware away at your Energy and Will.

You could make it a random click, Where you click and a wild pokemon appears, You can fight it, Or catch it.
It should be more then the chance it is.
Its less then 10% chance. It should depend on your level, If your in a Low Catching spot (Home town) then it should be easy to catch pokemon at a high level.

All towns will have 5 Pokemon specific to their town for catching. Currently only the first two towns have specific Pokemon and any town after the second will use the second town's Pokemon.

I also caught a couple Sandshrew and a Mankey.
EDIT: Got a male Nidoran, too; the five are Sandshrew, Nidoran (M), Nidoran (F), Clefairy, and Mankey.

Also, Steve, it gives me the "you need 1 Energy and 1 PokeBall" message at 4 Energy, not 0. :/
EDIT (again): Neither of the Nidoran sprites appear to be loading.

I went to the lvl 30 town and didnt spend too long there as I had to go and get the ones i missed in hometown, but I caught one of each nidoran there as well,

I /think/ I've gotten all of the catchables in the first two towns (Home town, maple leaf) OK, just to confirm, Oak Twig town has the same pokes as maple leaf town.

no shinies out of 4 pages of pokes :(

I am testing out the Pokemon Hunting in the other towns and a few other minor updates on the beta server. Once all bugs are worked out they will be updated on the main server.

Update complete! Go forth and catch them all!

Two new towns have been added and the existing towns have had their level requirements dropped. Yes, that also means more Pokemon can be found via hunting!

Once I've caught Nidoran(F) I've caught all the pokemon in the lower leveled towns. :D
