Pincer Pokémon

Pokedex entry: It raises its pincers with eyelike markings for intimidation. It also swings them down dangerously.

Ability:
Swarm: When HP is below 1/3rd, Bug’s power increases to 1.5 times.
Technician: Moves with a base power of 60 or less raise to 1.5 times.

Move sets:

Standard CB
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 attack 244 HP 12 Speed

U-Turn
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit

The aim of this is to deal quick damage early damage early game – switch in, use U-Turn or Bullet Punch (if you can KO the poke there) and get out. Late game use it to get the scraps with Bullet punch, which with technician and STAB is about 90 base power.

This set is imo inferior to CB, but if you can set it off, then you will KO quite a few pokes. Try and use it late game, when there is less threat of getting walled :)

This is an odd set – I personally like having this come in when a poke has fainted. In the turn the inevitable Magnezone or fire type comes in, you’ll have agility already, and then you can BP to a poke which can use it.

Avoiding Magnezone
Item: Shed Shell
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP 252 attack

U-Turn
Superpower
Pursuit
Bullet Punch

This is the CB set with shed shell. It is not quite as strong the original set, but you will avoid Magnezone, which is the bane of Scizor – Magnet pull will hold you in while it uses HP fire. With Shed Shell, you can escape, which will allow Scizor to live another day
