I'm playing pokemon sapphire right now and i have been having some trouble catching rayquaza. any advice? thanks in advance!

Yes. i get to the sky pillar with plenty of pokeballs, and he always uses rest. :rolleyes: same with latias. i can never seem to be at the right spot. i got her hp down, and i try to use a shadow tag pokemon, but now i can never find her!! lol. i really want these two so i can transfer them to my platinum.

do you have timer balls with you ? these are more effective after several pokeballs

yup. i do have some timer balls. do i just wait after several turns to use them, or only after i use a bunch of pokeballs first?

Timer Ball:

If the number of turns that have passed is:

* Between 1 and 9, 1×;
* Between 10 and 19, 2×;
* Between 20 and 29, 3×;
* More than 30, 4×.

Regular pokeball is 1x, great ball is 1.5x, and ultra ball is 2x. anything beyond turn 20, Timer ball is better than Ultra ball.

Just captured rayquaza!!! now for latias. any advice for capturing her???

The way i caught her was by going to lilycove and going to the patch of grass on the west side and if the first pokemon isnt latias then go back to lilycove and try again. Hope I helped :D

The best way to get latias, is to go between 2 routes, and wait too see if she goes to the route you are in. Just keep checking your pokedex, and hope you saved your Masterball.
