Knocked out a Legendary!!!

My daughter knocked out Palkia when she was playing, and like a ten year old girl will do, didn't listen to her old man and save before the battle. I read somewhere that there is someone (?) you can speak to, somewhere (?), and they will tell you of Palkia sightings.

Can anyone confirm this and the identity & location of this person?

The way it works is - after you beat the elite four, you can go talk to the old lady in (Correct me if i'm wrong) Pastoria city and based on what version you have will show you a picture of either Palkia or Dialga (Whichever you DONT meet in game naturally). This will only add that pokemon's data in your pokedex and will not trigger another encounter with either.

Best bet to get ahold of one is to either ask on these forums in the trade area, or try the GTS.

Yeah, i'm familiar with that stage of the game. What i'm referring to though is a 2nd chance to catch Palkia/Dialga.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no second chances at catching Palkia or Dialga. But you can probably find someone here who would be willing to trade it. I myself would be happy to get her Palkia once my Wi-Fi is working again. However, I don't think theres an actual second chance at catching it.
