View Full Version : Donor perks

I have a suggestion involving the perks for donating to the site.

Currently, money is pretty easy to come by, but crystals are not - and crystals are in high demand (as evidenced by all the stinkin' spam I get begging for mine) as they are spent in high numbers on nifty things like new pokemon and IQ.

So I think some revamping of the plans might be helpful and encouraging for players to donate.

For example, some of the plans offer game money. But these amounts are tiny. Even just one success on a tier 2 mission gives you that amount of money in one click.

Also, the plans that give you IQ give you less IQ than if you were to get the plan that costs the same but gives you more crystals instead of IQ - since each crystal is 5 IQ.

So that leads me to conclude that the only plan worth purchasing is Offer 2, where you get 100 crystals for $3. This is the best deal by far.

Anyway, my suggestions are for the money to be tweaked so that it matches up better, as well as adding some new plans that would really encourage members to donate.

An idea I had for encouraging people to donate is that one option is to donate something small like, $1, and then you will be given one random shiny pokemon. Along with a short donor status and 17% energy refill, but no crystals or anything. A random shiny instead of a particular one so that shinies of each pokemon are still somewhat rare (instead of if you offered a shiny Charmander, suddenly there are a hundred shiny Charmanders in-game). And everyone loves shiny pokemon!

And maybe more plans with different amounts of crystals. Like how $3 gets you 100 crystals, maybe $10 gets you 500 - more crystals per dollar, so it encourages a larger donation.

I bet there are a lot of other good ideas for donor packs, too. :)

Edit: Why can't I edit my title? There's no such word as "donator," I didn't mean to type it and now I can't fix it :( :( :(

The part I put in bold on the quote is what I would like too. Because shiny Pokemon are hard to get in the game. And maybe you could get a few in-game items, that would be good, right?
