It is necessary to go mining for certain evolutionary items.
I propose that range the items that can be potentially mined increases as the town levels do (if this does not happen already) - or that the items found in certain towns are different, much like the pokemon hunting 'mons are different according to your location.
I would also like to be able to mine crystals, but VERY rarely, or have a random occasional 1 point strength increase; would it be possible for small bonuses like that to be implemented?
What about King's Rocks and Sun Stones? :cool: Just sayin' ^_^

Like Sun Stones can only be found digging from Heatherly Fields. Or something.

If someone would care to make a list by town I can go from there.
Hmmm, I'll take a shot at it, let's see...
Hometown - water stone 50%, thunderstone 50%
Maple Leaf Town - water stone 40%, thunderstone 40%, leaf stone 20%
Oak Twig Village - leaf stone 40%, fire stone 40%, hyper potion 20%
Vineyard - fire stone 40%, super potion 20%, dusk stone 20%, link cable 20%
Marbledale - link cable 20%, super potion 20%, king's rock 2.5%, upgrade (can double as dubious disc?) 2.5%, thunderstone 50%, crystal 2.5%, random stat increase 2.5%
Serpent's Vale - dusk stone 20%, king's rock 2.5%, upgrade (dubious disc?) 2.5%, waterstone 50%, super potion 20%, crystal 2.5%, random stat increase 2.5%
Heatherly Fields - sun stone 10%, dawn stone 5%, leaf stone 50%, hyper potion 30%, crystal 2.5%, random stat increase 2.5%
I don't know what all pokemon you plan on adding so I just put in the basic evolutionary stones (even if we don't have those pokemon that use them yet) and other evolutionary items for pokes that we DO have already. The other items could be added in small percentages as we get those pokemon, taking the place of some of the percentage of a high percentage item - for instance, if we get Happiny, we can put it at 5% in Heatherly Fields and change the chances of a leaf stone to 45%. Or something.
I also kind of tried to make them fit the "theme" of their town a little, if you will... And for percentages - which of course you can make whatever you want, these are just my ideas - went with how common it is in the actual game, plus what's already common on TRG. That's why there's more chance of water and thunder stones, because they are already common, so might as well keep it consistent.
I wonder if an item should be created for things like nighttime-level up evolving, happiness evolving, etc. Like, they'd just work like a regular stone though for ease. Unless those pokemon won't be in the game.

What about you use a Dusk Stone for Umbereon and a Dawn Stone for Espeon?

In PMD2, there are items called Sun and Moon Scarf to evolve eevee etc. with.
