O.M.G. I have been hatching eggs all day to get ready for my Gym debut. After 240 eggs, not one shiny. I am going nuts. On a sadder note, I wanted to check an IV of a Poke I was breeding, so I IV'd up and got my IV result and then saved the game. I lost 48 rare candies and now I have a level 49 pre-evolve Pokemon with terrible IVs, except for its Special Attack which is 31. Now I have to do more farm breeding and ask for more rare candies. This Gym team is pushing my limits as a breeder and my patience as a trainer. Good news is 2 Gym team members move-set complete, 3 more in the last stage of move-set build, and 1 needing to be started. Once I get the IVs done for the 5 finished move-set Pokemon I will EV up and level up and be kicking butt at the Beacon Gym, hopefully showing everyone why it is not the night, but the light you should fear. O.K. I really have to stop trying to be funny.

XD I wish I could be as patient as you. When I was trying to get the right nature for one of my pokemon, I nearly threw my ds at a wall XDDD

I got the Natures for 4 out of my 6 team Pokemon right now. Hoping to change one team member from Modest to Timid Nature. The other two are close. One I bred the Nature I needed, so now I got to rebreed a nest of them to get my IVs back. The second one I am still in the process of finding the right specimen to breed from, so hopefully I can find the Nature I want as well. I really need to catch the heck out of Ditto and get one of each Nature and decent IV.

Hey Buzz. I know you really disprove of cloning and/or hacking, but I feel really bad about you losing all your Rare Candy. I can easily replenish your supply if you don't mind cloned sweets. =S I mean they'll only be used to check IVs and not actually the level up process.

I might take you up on the offer, but for right now I will try to refill my supply threw the Pickup Ability and from my Minor Market Farm Events. Just drives me nuts that I messed up that big. Celph and I do IV battles, but I like keeping a stock of them for when I need to IV and don't want to bother Celph to IV Battle 240 Pokemon he-he.

p.s. I don't really get upset over cloned items, I still don't like them. Items are different from Pokemon. The rare hard to get POkemon are not really rare or hard to get if you hack a few and clone them for everyone. Items are usually in short supply in Pokemon games. Like the Reaper Cloth, there is only 2 per game and getting the second is a major pain, if you can do Turnback Cave in only 3 rooms. I think I read somewhere though that you can buy Reaper Cloth in PBR. Anyone with PBR know?

In PBR it is called Spirit World Cloth. I don't know why the name is different, but it does the same thing. I so need to get a Wii.

I have 36 Rare candies that I don't use any more since I only IV battle these days. They are all yours if you need them.

everytime i read Buzz messages about what he does makes me spin dizzy.
i have been doing manual recording of my ev training. so i know if i reach enough on that stat. it is pain staking long process but the results are satisfactory.

I so need to get my Vs. Seeker Trainer EV guide finished. I have some Vs. Seeker Trainer battles that with Macho Brace equipped you can get 10 EV per battle or more, but I like the 10 EV macho brace battles, makes it so much easier to keep count. O.K. let me post a quick intro for the guide so everyone can judge it for me.

HP EV Vs. Seeker
Rt. 209 - Cowgirl Shelly - 5 Bidoof - 5 EVs - South of Solaceon Tower at muddy ramp.

Attack EV Vs. Seeker
Rt. 203 - Lass Madeline - 1 Staraptor 1 Bibarel - 5 EVs - Above Trainer Tip sign #2.

Defense EV Vs. Seeker
Rt. 210 - Ninja Boy Fabian - 3 Geodudes - 3 EVs -

Special Attack EV Vs. Seeker
Rt. 214 - Collector Douglas - 3 Roselia - 6 EVs -

Special Defense EV Vs. Seeker
Rt. 210 - Ninja Boy Davido - 1 Dustox - 3 EVs -

Speed Ev Vs. Seeker
Rt. 205 - Fisherman Andrew - 6 Magikarp - 6 EVs - On the bridge, the second fisherman from the right.

I have a lot more to add, but that is an example. Right now I am trying to get all the trainers that you can rebattle using the Vs. Seeker wrote down with their Pokemon. However I just found out something, I thought that some trainers changed after beating the Elite 4, but it turns out they can also change due to the number of times you beat the Elite 4. There is also a trainer or 2 per area that their Pokemon evolve after beating the Elite 4, so you must battle them atleast 3 times to get to the final evolved form. So my plans of adding the Pokemon levels and the PokeDollars earned from beating them will not be added to the guide since it can change from person to person depending on the number of times they have faced the Elite 4.

I am trying to decide how I want the finished guide to list the EVs gained. Also I find EV training goes alot faster if you can find trainers like the 3 Roselia. Trainers that only have 2-4 Pokemon, but give 4-6+ EVs. Less Pokemon, but more EVs I should say. The battles go faster and the reward is greater.

SIDE NOTE:
I also found that on Rt. 212, the Socialite and the Gentleman usually give about 16,000 PokeDollars with an Amulet Coin attached. I now get 24,000 PokeDollars from them and I have beating the Elite 4 47 times. South of Solaceon Tower at muddy ramp.

This is why I still use my Ruby/Emerald games. Secret bases are the best thing for EV training.

If the Pokemon you need is available in the older games breed it and train it there.
