“Lost, dearie?”

The cracked voice startled me. I hadn’t heard the old lady approach - I was reading the tombstones lining the Lost Tower’s second floor.

I turned around, and found myself rooted to the spot – I was lost, to tell the truth – it’s an embarrassing habit I have, getting lost.

“Where did the group go?” I asked – getting lost is not so bad on your own time, I must say – but it is not such a good idea when you’re taking a late night Lost Tower Tour!

Her gaze pierced me “You’re not the first to wander from the group”, she said, a knowing spark in her eyes. “But, perhaps, my friend can help you find your way back?”
I looked around. “Your... friend?” I couldn’t see anyone else in the room
“Dreeeeeeee!” sounded, from over her head – two red eyes appeared, and then what appeared to be a floating severed head with flowing hair. A misdreavus!
“Missie, can you please assist this young lady to find her way?” The misdreavus seemed to look me over, nodded once and vanished, reappearing beside me.
A haze enveloped me, and the room began to disappear.
“What’s going on?!” I called to the old lady
“Destiny Bond – where Missie goes, you go” she answered with a grim smile
“Whaa-aa? Who are you, anyway?” I called.
“Thought you’d never ask, you may have met my grand-daughter, Fantina?” – the last thing I heard before the room faded.

I did find the tour group eventually, you know.
‘Missie’ could fix enemies with a Mean Look, making them powerless to leave.
Then she’d ruin the effect by taunting them so they could do nothing but attack... but, just when I’d be calling it a write-off?
She’d sucker punch them to the face!

Sometimes you notice more when you get yourself a little lost – I just hope that if you do, you have a friend like Missie to help you find your way back again!
Aside though, I did run into Fantina a few days later. She was surprised when I mentioned meeting her grandmother
“But, my grandmother died years ago.”

You do realize that the current name of that misdreavus is B.1 don't you? I can leave it, but wouldn't a proper name be better? I name them for numbers so that I can IV check them, for record-keeping purposes - but I can leave it as that name if that doesn't bother you.

It's very difficult to IV check a lot of pokemon that all have the same name, that's why I name them after numbers - usually according to what generation/number they hatched - that's why I ask people to choose a nickname (or request that I change it back to default) before we trade.

Speaking of trading, are you able to trade at the moment? ^_^
