(I'll give stragglers a day or two more to confirm, given the scoring structure it shouldn't impact the scores.)

We are going for something a little different this time in terms of scoring. We will not be using Brackets, we will be using a modified Round-Robin format. You may battle each other person enrolled in the Tournament one time.

Scoring is as follows:


Participating in a Battle: 1 Point
Winning a Battle: 1 Points
Each Surviving Pokémon: 1 Point
Running from a Battle: -2 Points


Please create One (1) reply to this thread each & post your match records and scores against each person you battle along with a total score. Edit your post as you have more battles. Please keep all discussion in the discussion thread.

Everyone will have until midnight November 8th to get in as many battles as possible. The winner will (Obviously) be the person with the highest score, but badges will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place scorers.

The detailed rules are as follows:

-3 pokes per team
-Only 1 OU per team
-single battle
-Auto lvl 50
-You do not have to use the same team for all battles but they all have to conform to the Ghosts Everywhere! rules
-Standard Clauses are in effect
-Legends are not allowed
-Ubers are banned


PokéFarm Clauses



Species Clause

It is NOT permitted to have two or more of the exact same Pokémon in a team.
Pokémon from the same Family are however permitted (i.e. Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu).

Duplicate Item Clause Is ON


You are only allowed one of each item on your Team.

Evasion Clause

Moves that directly increase evasion (such as Double Team and Minimize) are NOT permitted in battle.
Taking advantage of abilities such as Sand Veil and Snow Cloak are permitted. They are abilities, and do not directly affect evasion status.

Self-K.O. Clause

When both Parties are down the last Pokémon, Self-K.O. moves (such as Explosion, Destiny Bond, Perish Song, Memento, etc.) will cause an automatic loss for its user.
Abilities such as Aftermath do not count since they are abilities and not moves.

Sleep Clause

It is NOT permitted that the status Sleep (SLP) be applied to more than one of the opponent's Pokémon at a time. The opponent's currently sleeping Pokémon must first awaken or get knocked out before Sleep may be cast on the opponent's Pokémon once again.
Applying the status Sleep while using random-selection moves (such as Assist, Metronome, Sleep Talk, etc.) does NOT violate this clause.
The move Yawn (unless used with moves such as Assist, Metronome, Sleep Talk, etc.) violates this clause.
Self-inflicted Sleep (such as Rest) does NOT count in this clause, as it is voluntarily inflicted by the user and not by the opponent.
If ability-inflicted Sleep (such as Effect Spore, etc.) is already in effect, applying Sleep to another Pokémon violates this clause. However, this clause is NOT violated if the ability takes effect after the status Sleep has already been applied.

One-hit KO (O.H.K.O.) Clause

One-hit K.O. moves (such as Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, etc.) are NOT permitted, as they hugely rely on chance and not skill.

Here be my results post - I'm Johnny come lately, I suppose..

1 Point @ Paiopa 0-2 (I Lost) - That was a beating, you're lead was exactly the kind of poke i was afraid of. Nicely done.
3 Point @ Baguio 1-0 (I Won) - Was an interesting battle, If only I had a good STAB move on that one poke...I might have had one more point. Nice Battle.
5 Point @ Sasuke 3-0 (I Won) - That was a long stall war, but Buzz Saw was able to cut through your team in the end.
1 Point @ Empoleon 0-1 (I Lost) - Wow, what a comeback. Nicely done on your last poke!
5 Point @ Trogdor 3-0 (I Won) - I liked your team - Unfortunately Buzz Saw was too much for you. - by the way your team is Illegal.
4 Point @ lil_ash 2-0 (I won) - Unique moveset on your lead pokemon, took me by surprise, and got the best of Buzz Saw.
5 Point @ Shadowmario3 3-0 (I won) - Unique lead which had me in trouble, but I was able to regian control quickly.
4 Point @ Run_Bubba_Run 2-0 (I won) - I can't believe I fell into that destiny bond trap. Ah well, nicely played!
1 Point @ MrPerson0 0-1 (I lost) - Was an overall great battle. I made some misassumptions that cost me a poke or two.
5 Point @ Slizer107 3-0 (I won) - You had some poor luck with hypnosis early in the battle and from there Buzz saw had control.
1 Point @ hoby123 0-1 (I lost) - Wow, that crit at the end was unbelievable. Very nice battle, well played by yourself!!
