Ps2

I have a PS2 that I got a 1 or 2 years ago and I use to play it alot.
Now I barely use it at all. The last time I used it was to play a book on CD,
and thats because it would not work on my computer.

I have been wondering if I should get a new game for it.
I don't know if I want to spend money on a game that I wont play ever again after 10-20 hours of play time.

Two games have caught my attention, and I am wondering if there any good?

I have played through both multiple times, and can offer you the following advice:

Unless you have Chrono Cross already for PSX, it will be extremely difficult to find. It is an excellent game, possibly one of my favorites of all time. If you can find it, I suggest that you buy it and play it immediately!

Kingdom Hearts 2 is about 20 dollars used, but it's hard to fully appreciate how good it is unless you play through the original Kingdom Hearts.

If you have a PS2 that's just collecting dust, I would suggest eBaying it, or go to a Gamestop and see how many good RPGs you can get your hands on for relatively cheap. There's always Monster Rancher 3 or Monster Rancher EVO.

I have to agree about chrono cross. I have chrono trigger for the snes and chrono cross for PS1. The story is very enganging and the gameplay is excellent. The original chrono trigger is available for PS1 on final fantasy chronicles.

I miss my PS2, it's back in NZ while I'm stuck in Japan :(

KH2 is fantastic, but as has been said it's perhaps best to play KH first.

For the last year before I came to Japan, the only use my PS2 got was to play Guitar Hero. I love that game. I'm addicted to Guitar Freaks in the arcades here in Japan.

Just to make things clear I have already played Kingdom Hearts.
After I finished it there was nothing else to do, so thats why I was wondering if KH2 would be the same.

I bought a PS2 mainly to play Kingdom Hearts and LOVED it. Kingdom Hearts 2 is great too but it started out kinda slow and I got sidetracked and never finished it...but it is on my to do list. :wink:
