October 09 Tournament - Ghosts Everywhere! Wrap up and Discussion

I'm curious what folks thought of the all-ghost type tournament?

I know I fielded some concerns about Spiritomb and SableEye. How do folks feel the metagame of the matches worked?

Any other comments? Remember that now that the tournament is over folks don't need to worry about keeping teams secret.

I thought this tournament worked out pretty well. Limiting choices to one OU and only 3 pokemon in total did make the battles more challenging and provide for some variety. It also allowed to finish battle more quickly given that this was a robin-roulette style tournament.

I really enjoyed the ghost tournament, it was good that you were limited to little number of pokemon. The battling everyone was good, when people actually said when they were available and were able to make time to battle. But sometimes it was a bit of a nightmare trying to get to battle people.

I found it pretty fun. I think there were a bit too many Spiritomb, but everyone does love using that, lol.

I think that was a kinda competition breaker then, as you could just wear anything down.

Next time, i think spiritomb should be banned as well, its really not adding anything interesting to the metagame.
