make sure you breed pain split onto dusk.it is the most anoying thing when u are about to ko him then it recovers while takeing your energy all in one hit.also think about maybe tyranitar.it is very powerful and slow and can make your team a late sandstorm team.plus claydol to do late trick rooms for it.

yeah i heard weastcoast ninja is a great trainer but i recomend you if you are gonna use a tyranitar try to make good use of the sandstorms becasue it damages a little hp but if you are in a crisis moment you need to have a pokemon that gets no affected ..because i have lost two or three battles like that so i already learn my lesson...
and a rhyperior is a good option too...

i like claydol, so thats 3. i dont wanna use tyrannitar cause its way too overused and i dont really like him.

i need pokemon that you would pick if they just wouldnt be slow. like a bronzong or a slowbro. like a ramapardos has high attack but it speed is awful

nagib_253

bronzong is better than metagross because he has the ability of levitate

sanjose17
10-14-2007, 02:39 PM
yeah but im not going to use bronzong since i already have slowbro. i dont want to have to many psychic types

a snorlax is a good idea ..he has good defense hp and atack
or a aggron

sanjose17
10-14-2007, 02:52 PM
thankks alot, i forgot about them, although aggron has some bad typing, but snorlax would be great

nagib_253
10-14-2007, 02:58 PM
yeah the aggron type isnt a good choice for you but snorlax is the best poke for trick room and he is only affected by fighting type

if u put a speedy sweeper in your team just in case your trick room pokes die it would catch your opponents offguard.

You should add Mr. Mime. He can learn Trick Room and Baton Pass...which as you can imagine could set up any awesome slow pokemon that can't learn trick room. Or you can use Xatu, whom could learn Trick Room and U-turn...you also could make that work. I recommend Claydol as a Trick Roomer, I have one on my team and it never lets me down.....:)

muk instead of swalot. cacturn should be good i have heard good things about it being good 4 battles.

it sucks that only porygon-z learns trick room naturally, cause its going to be hard to get all of them. i didnt add mr mime cause its pretty fast. and i already have a spot for slowbro, so i dont want any other psychics, besides claydol or bronzong. thanks alot guys, keep the great ideas coming!

I have 6 Trick Room TMs if you are interested. I can trade away....probably 4 of them.

i think im going to put a ninjask in my team, so if my trick room strategy doesnt go so well, i can surprise my opponent. i recently ev trained one with baton pass so i think it will go well with the team

since that will be a late game ninjask teach it substitute and give it a berry that increases atk.just sub till the berry kicks in then bpass.

Could always lay a Lagging Tail on one of your faster poke's. It will slow them down. On the plus side, if you have switcheroo or a trick, you can use the lagging tail to slow down the opponent as well.

Hey a Guts Ursaring ain't so bad with a Toxic Orb + Facade - esp if he goes first.

Basically you wanna pick the poke's that are super slow but super strong. Though remember, quick attacks/Ice shards/SHadow Sneaks/Sucker Punch are unaffected by trick room's prowess.

Would that work with Lagging tail? Since all it says is that it makes the holder go last and trick room is based on the speed not the "position" of the pokemon in battle. Can't seem to find exactly how Laggin tail effects the pokemon, the best I can find is from marriland:

While held by a Pokemon, it will always move last in battle, unless against moves that force the user to go first or the opponent to go last.

And this move doesn't really force you to go first unless you have less speed.

On the other hand, using Iron Ball would decrease their speed which is what you would be looking for in this case. Just have to watch out who you put it on so you dont loose the levitating/flying ability (Claydol and Bronzong).

That's a good point. But you got what I meant lol. I have yet to try it out. I am hoping to make a Trick Room Double team. Hopefully I'll try it out soon, and yes Iron Ball would prolly be a better choice.

not much of a surprise anymore...

:P

lol i no its not much of a surprise thats why ill try and keep the rest of the team secret. but lagging tail will always make me go last, plus i will only use ninjask if my strategy goes wrong. its a baton passer, so i have substitute on it already.
