Yeah I just got it like three days ago. Pokerus is short for poke virus or something like that... It doubles the EV's gained after a battle. Quite usefull for EV training

I think you can spread pokerus by having pokemon in your party adjacent to the infected one, then engaging in a battle/wild encounter. Every turn the pokerus spreads to a new pokemon.

Actually, pokerus spreads to the adjacent pokemon, but it only has a 1 in 3 chance, so not every turn does the pokemon catch it.. But yes, I do have alot of pokerus left!! yup, so if anybody wants one, request it now.. And by the way, I thought you couldn't breed staryu's, but you can so I am actually all good on that thanks anyways though

It doubles the number of EV points i.e. the stats you receive when you next level up. It does not affect the experience points.

It also only affects the pokemon, not the whole team.
