Greetings and salutations!!! Welcome to Pokefarm's third official tournament hosted by yours truly. After the success of the Little Cup Tournament, the Normal Cup Tournament and Nak's Coolness Contest, I couldn't wait to jump-start a new tournament. As you may have noticed, my tournaments are known to be quite unique; and this tournament definitely compliments this fact.
What does Ultimate Survival mean? To put it simply, the amount of pokemon you have remaining in the first round, is the amount of pokemon (+1 more) you must use in the second battle. To make it even more interesting, you may only have one pokemon on your team that has a total of 600 base stats. This makes strategy and technique very important!!! Now for the details....
Rules for Battling
-> This cup will have a Survival theme. This means you start with 6 pokemon in the first round, and use the surviving pokemon in the next round, with the ability to use a Max Revive on one fainted Pokemon between rounds.
-> All battles will be Single level 50.
-> Make sure you follow the One-Hit KO clause, The Species Clause, The Hax Item Clause, Duplicate item Clause, and No Ubers Clause on this page. (http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/36474/t935726-rules-etiquette-for-competitive-battling-updated-9-25-07-for-clarity/) All other clauses are not in effect, but will be considered if suggested.
-> No legendary pokemon are allowed. They don't belong on competitive play.
-> Now here is where it gets more interesting, you may only have one of the following 600* total stat pokemon on your team: Slaking, Dragonite, Salamence, Metagross, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Blissey. I repeat only ONE of these pokemon can be on your team.

Other Details
* Entry will be open until Saturday, October 26 at 6 PM Eastern! Brackets for the first round will be posted within an hour. Tournament will end on Tuesday October 29 at 6 PM Eastern.
* You must PM the team you are going to use to Nak before brackets are posted or you will not be able to participate. This way we have a record of who used which pokemon.
* You will be given your challenger for the first round and will have 1 day to contact and battle this person. After 1 day, Round 2 will begin with the winners from Round 1. We will follow the same procedure until the finals.
* The tournament will be a simple 8-man bracket setup, single elimination. This means one battle and one battle only. If more people are willing to enter, I will make it 16-man tournament.
* There will be a special prize Pokemon for the winner! First prize is a choice between a shiny scyther, a shiny sneasel, a shiny charmander or 6 masterballs. Second prize is a choice between 1 Master Ball or 3 rare Candies.

-> If you are not going to be able to play anytime this weekend, do not enter!!! If you have to be disqualified, you will never be able to enter a tournament again.

Punishments
+Hopefully, nothing will happen that will warrant any action taking place, but just so everyone knows:
+Failure to follow the rules of the tournament will result in an AUTOMATIC LOSS and a ban from ALL future Official Pokefarm Tournaments.
+Disconnections will be handled on a case by case basis, but hold the same potential punishments as the previous two offenses. There will be no second games in the event of a disconnection, and both players stand the chance of being withdrawn from the tournament regardless of fault.
+Simply put, be a good sport. If one thing goes wrong, it affects EVERYONE in the tournament, which isn't fair to them when it is your doing.
