they from a series of 12 books (well 11 atm, 1 more to come) called the wheel of time, definitely worth a read. only books ive ever read more than once.. (10 times i think now :p)
I made it up as a name, for the main character in the book I'm writing.
But as an acronym, it could stand for a wrestling federation. Hopefully not.

my email address is Airazor2 derived from the Falcon Transformer in the TV show Beasties.
i have been using this at too many sites, so i decided to tweak it a bit to suit Pokemon better. Thus, beaming with happiness, i decided on Razorbeam.

Cherkat
10-31-2007, 07:02 PM
I have two names that I use on the forum My log in is Cherkat and my trainer name is Harley. Cherkat because the first 4 letters, cher, are the first four letters in my name, and I love kitties so, kat.
Harley, I once had a beautiful harlequin colored kitty and her name was Harley.

Myrddraal~ I read a couple of Robert Jordon's book years ago. Who's gonna write #12 or was it already done?
Belnumcree (Belnum Cree) is the name of a character from a book I was writing. I would say still writing, but I've had writers block since about 2002

I got soccer because that's my favorite sport. I got gurl because I'm a girl. And 22 because 2 is my favorite number, and 2 2s is 22.

When I worked out at boy scout summer camp years ago, our nicknames were derived from our real names spelled backwards (no fun fowards). It's last name first and first name last. So for example, if your name were mark strogrob, something acceptable would be Borgkram. Some names are just too long so you have to shorten them a bit to be able to pronounce them. The nickname has stuck around for pretty much all of my gaming and sports life so it was pretty much second nature to use it here.

i love your new trainer card.

yah there are shark teeth theyre pretty cool and thanks for the trainer card. actually its a banner and I didn't make it. Belnumcree did. But the shark teeth are real cool. They can take a while to find but its more fun than going to a gift shop and buying a tooth. WHATS THE FUN IN THAT? And they look cooler cause theyre all black. Oh and you don't have to waste money on them cause theyre free.

In the dark ages of the pre-internet (1990) I used to hang out on the BBS systems here in the twin cities. I needed a screen name and didn't have anyone to tell me what the conventions were, so I made one by removing random letters from my middle name (Benjamin). I eventually added an H because it sounded cool. The screenname has sort of been with me ever since.
It made sense when I was 12.....

Actually, this name is one taken from a very hilarious writer who went by the name "Gamegeezer" from GMR magazine. It was a favorite magazine of mine until recently they stopped making it. I liked the name, so i picked it up and dusted it off, and made it my own. So now i go by the name "Gamegeezer" and rant on about games no one cares about and ridicule games that shouldn't, simply because i am me.

I thought I had hear that name somewhere. Strange though I don't ever remember buying that magazine??? (Wait I can hardly remember yesterday...) (And you don't rant, you educate hee hee hee)
Gamegeezer
11-05-2007, 08:34 PM
There's also gamegeezer.com, but i'm sure you heard it from the magazine, which was gamestop's like, official magazine or w/e, but they just dropped it for no dang reason at all >.> And now they got game informer and what have you. See, there goes another rant or something..........iono, i keep my rants short on this forum......on mine, they tend to be pretty lengthy......

11-05-2007, 08:42 PM
Hmm. Well I've gotten the gamestop magazine for a few years... (I get them when I renew my gamestop card) Maybe I just don't remember it being called that. And remember not ranting, educating (that's what I tell my son it is)
Gamegeezer
11-05-2007, 08:47 PM
Lol, so you rant as well then?
Yeah, there was a magazine out that came with the card before GI called GMR, even though GI was made well before GMR, GMR was the first to come with the gamestop card (if you so chose). But they stopped that deal and yeah, now they just have GI. ALthough, dun get me wrong, game informer is great. But i was really attached to GMR. I do believe that's how things happened and gosh darn it, i'm way off topic. @_@
What's a belnumcree anyways?
belnumcree
11-05-2007, 09:25 PM
Yeah rant, lecture, blab, "talk too much"... if my son describes what I'm saying as any one of those then it is automatically educational. lol
I don't think I've renewed my subscription in a while though (I've probably got 5 magazines I haven't even glanced at the cover on )

Well I guess I could say that I got the info from my dad or my neighbor,
but I don't think that they would be good as references as only I could check them.

I know, I know, but how many 12 year olds had email in 1990? Unless you were in a computer science department, had access to a mainframe, or worked for the military, the internet was just not avalible to you until the mid '80s, and most folk didn't have a real use for it until around 1994 or so.
Heck, web browsers weren't invented till 1991. Before that you had to use command lines to get anywhere.
And that is where I got my name from.......
