I saw that it replaced Bleach in the line up but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet...I have it recorded on my DVR but I was to upset about Bleach being gone that I didn't feel like watching it.

I haven't seen the anime but I've read the whole manga. I liked the beginning better than the ending <_< .

Death note`s kinda cool i had a chance to watch it before and i liked it hehe^_^ how bout blood plus? anybody watching that? i think its kinda cool^_^ although what pisses me off is they never finish the story on cartoon network and that sucks...

Death Note is basically an anime about a boy and the Grim Reaper (Shinigami???) and the Death Note. If I'm right, the Death Note is supposed to be the Reaper's log of people that he is to kill. I think how the Death Note works is you have to write down the name of the person, and they die. And well, the boy, or the main character, finds it, and yeah... I'm not sure because I haven't seen a lot of it. But I do know that it's a huge hit in Japan right now (there's even a movie for it) and it's as popular as Naruto and Bleach.




although what pisses me off is they never finish the story on cartoon network and that sucks...

As popular as Naruto and Bleach? Well, I guess but One Piece is far more popular then those two (at least in Japan) so I'm happy.


If I'm right, the Death Note is supposed to be the Reaper's log of people that he is to kill. I think how the Death Note works is you have to write down the name of the person, and they die. And well, the boy, or the main character, finds it, and yeah...

This is all true except that the Death Note is not a log of what the shinigami has to kill. Its solely a tool for killing. When you right down the name of a person (and visualize him/her in your head so people with the same name are not effected) the person dies of a heart attack. Although the writer may specify the death of the person and even when the person dies if he wants to. He may also control the actions of the person before they die.

Just some notes for people who haven't read/seen Death Note...

No problem, I used to be a huge Death Note fan, until my favorite character died, then I just skimmed the rest of the series. Then I really hated the ending.

I like Death Note, kinda ****** when bleach was gone, but I know when Bleach is on! Its on every Friday at 12:30AM. Nothing much happened though. And also this is what the Death note is.

A book that the Shinigamii use for killing but that world where they live is slowy rotting and falling apart. So a regular Shinigamii got very bored and got 2 Death Notes, then he purpusly droped the second one into the human world to entertain him. So a very top rank smart boy named Light Yagamay(Misspelled) found it. He didnt belive about that the Death note can do at first but he tested it 2 times. So after words he wanted to kill all the criminals in the world to make the world perfect. So the Shinigamii found Light and had to stick with him until the Death Note is destryed or when Light dies. This is what the Death Note does. If you put someones name down the person will die within 40 seconds by a heart attack, within those 40 seconds you can write the cause of death and or what there actions are before they die, they can't do anything that isn't already possible for them to already do.
If any human touches any part of the Death Note then that human can not go to heaven nor :(:(:(:(. And also if you touch a part of the Death Note then you can see Gods of Death(Shinigamii). So back to where the storys at. Now Light thought it would be a bit simple and that he would be the God of that new world. But a master detective that goes by the name of "L" is trying to figure out who Light is(goes by Kira) and brings him to justise. Thats the main story lol.

Kira FTW! I love deathnote, if i wasn't completely outta manga on my computer, i'd still be reading it. Although i kinda got a spoiler before the show got overly popular, and i kinda new everything that was going to happen before i even watched. Strangely, it didn't ruin the experience of it, and that's a good thing. :)

I saw the new episode this past saturday. Ive been hooked. I usually dont go for this kind of anime and didnt plan on watching it. But I changed the channel to cartoon network and just left it there for no reason and it got me. But how many episodes have I missed? And does anybody know what time reruns come on?

about the bleach disapointment... I think that theyre working on the second season, its not out yet, and when It comes out , CN will definitely put it back on the air for all the bleach fans!:D that includes me!!! I at the part with the vizards (manga only)

New Death Note Aired Last Night! Light has a point, though (El Or L) Decided to announce is real identity to him, Light can't kill him right after he had announced himself just yet, even if he were to use some other method of killing rather than a Heart Attack, still suspicious. And he might accidently picture the wrong person, then he would be in trouble.

P.s. Last Weeks Episode Was Hilarious!!!!! Ryuk's Withdrawl symptoms because he couldnt eat apples was laugh-out-loud funny!!!

I just finished the watching the entire series and I must say that I really enjoyed it. That's all i'll say for now, no spoilers from me.
