I play it occasionally. I can do mediums and I can barely pass hard. If I have to do expert though my head might explode from the # of notes you'd have to hit

i play guitar hero a bit but im not too good i can beat some songs on med but thats it

Cool, i can beat most songs on hard and a lot of them on expert:-D

I have it and play decent. I am thinking of ordering the bundle pack for Rock Band. My son loves playing the drums.

Oh Rock Band is also made by the same people who make Guitar Hero.

I play quite a bit. Have almost everything on the first two beat on expert, I don't consider the 80s songs as good rock. The new one I am half way through on expert and almost done with hard. The last set and a half on GHIII is killer. I was breezing through everything until I hit the #7 set and I can't believe how hard some of the songs will be on expert, probably will never beat them.

But rockband I am totally looking forward too. The song set on that on is really going to rock hard!!

Rock band throws in two guitars, drums and a mic. They have pretty much the same set up for one guitar but now have the three places (one for guitar, one for guitar/bass/rhythm, one for the drums) on the screen for button pushing and then the kareoke at the top. It looks like the singing will follow the same type of format as the Sing Star songs do, where you don't have to be necessarily on key but they want the timing and inflections to be more correct.

I know they were saying the full box set will run ~$180 (drum, 2 guitars, mic and game) with the mic running 25, drums 80 and game 60. So its quite a bit more pricey for all the gear but I am sure it would be worth it.
