does anbody else think it would be cool? have any of the pokemon (excluding ones without limps) fight street fighter style. or make a smash bros spinoff exclusive to pokemon. what character would you use? i think garchomp would be awsome or gallade. but i would use weville.

They better make it for the DS (only system I have). Excellent idea though. I would like to use Gengar or Scyther. Would be an amazing game though.

I remember when the first Pokemon Stadium came out, I thought it would be kind of a "free fight" style game -- so I was a little disappointed.

I think now they should add the little microphone to the controls, so it's like the tv show where they can scream out attacks and it would be "free fight" type battle. ^_^

Yeah, i actually thought about this idea long long ago back in my high school days of how they should make a pokemon game. And i thought about it when the first pokemon stadium came out. Rather than using a turn based system, you could have a free fight in a 3d arena. You could run around with the joystick, while blocking with L and use R for using an item or w/e. Then with the C buttons you could use the attacks while in game. That way, at least if your a lower level than your opponent, you can actually stand a chance against them because your a good player. It'd also take waaaaaaay more strategy too. Just imagine controlling a pokemon, and moving around attaacking, while jumping left and right and forward and what have you with the D-pad. If i ever get around to finishing up this schooling and moving onto the game design portion, i am definitely going to throw this idea at ninentendo. :D
