Darn, I just reached 600, lol. But that's mostly due to trading and voice chat =D

Hey, I just found something out, apparently when you get to the dreaded 999:59 time the clock stops counting and will stay there forever while you continue playing, it will not kill your game or restart it, it just stays that time forever.:)

That's definitely a lie. And win it hits 999:59, I'm pretty sure it stays there forever. So you can freeze time :P

I was concerned about clock time also.
Good to hear numbers bigger than mine @ 354.

I know there were bugs in previous Pokemon games for the GBA that completed restarted at some point in time. Memory foggy, but I think it was LeafGreen/FireRed that restarted at 399'59"

If this is true, then the real question is: does time actually stop? Or does the timer just stop working?

If it actually stops, it will be just like the "no more berries" glitch from Ruby/Emerald and lots of problems will emerge.

(I'm guessing that the programmers are smart enough not to make that mistake twice)

As long as we are talking about time, has anyone else actually compared their time on their save game to real time?

Is it as wonky as mine?

I know my timer is moving too fast. There have been several occasions when I *know* I have played for 2 hours, but the game clock shows I have been playing for 2.5-3.
Oddly enough, this doesn't seem to affect the passing of days in the game. Midnight still happens at the correct time.

I changed my DS to show daylight savings time and had no problems with pal parking, but today it said something about a change in the time and my Ruby would now have to wait 24 hours, which I changed that like a week or so ago. So I then inserted my FireRed and it worked fine.

Just to point out, when you save, there is a MASSIVE gap between the word "Time" and the toal playtime. At least enough for 1000 hours surely.

I noticed with time, it says I beat the Elite 4 in 32 hours, but I know my game time was at 156 hours. Which I find completely odd. I kept thinking maybe the game somehow knew when I was leveling up Pokemon and subtracted time or only kept the time from actual events in the game. Like when you walk into a Gym and when you walk out. Not likely, but weird time in this game he-he.

Rofl, same here I guess. XDD But the thought of it is rather disturbing... First because it's like your stuck in time. And second, the fact that you've been playing more than 1000 hours of Pokemon... that kinda says something, doesn't it? lol XD

Pokemon will cause a dimensional rift to open throwing everyone randomly through time. :) At least till the next Gen brings them back.
