Breeding a pokemon is all about Moves, Natures, and (to the more obsessive) IVs.
Often, you have a choice between a long breeding chain involving 2-4 generations of pokemon to get a move onto your new creation, and just using a Tech Machine to give the move to them with no fuss and no muss.
But some Tech Machines are rare. Very rare. You get one per game.
And then there are the ones you can find at the store. Money isn't that hard to come by in a Pokemon game, so you can use them freely.
But what can you buy, and where? If you have access to some of the third generation games, there is a suprising variety to choose from:
TM05 - Roar: Celadon Department Store (FR/LG) $1,000
TM10 - Hidden Power: Slateport Market (R/S/E) $3,000
TM14 - Blizzard: Lilycove Dept Store (R/S/E) $5,500, Veilstone Deptment Store (D/P) $5,500
