I know it hits when using Fly, but what about Bouce, Dig, and Dive? Sorry if this one of those "DOH, STEWPEED" questions. TT~TT

i remember battling someone who used Dig and i used Thunder. i think it did not reduce HP but it paralyzed the opponent.

Dig is a ground move and I thought anything electric did not hit ground. I don't know how it would have paralyzed a Pokemon. Not saying it could not paralyze while in dig if the Pokemon was not a ground type, because even thunder wave does not paralyze a ground type.

It does for 2X damage.
Same with Thunder and Fly.
I also know that Thunder will hit a bouncing Pokemon.
Other that that, Thunder does not hit Pokemon that are underwater, or underground.

Thanks everyone. This is still a tad confusing though. So ok, let me see...

Thunder hits:

Fly
Bounce

Surf hits

?

Earthquake hits

Dig

What about Dive? Is it immune to everything?

Dive
User is made invulnerable for one turn, then hits the next turn. Surf hits Pokemon on the charge-up turn with double base power.

FLY/Bounce
User is made invulnerable for one turn, then hits the next turn. Sky Uppercut and Thunder have regular Accuracy and base power against a Pokemon in the middle of Fly. The base power of Gust and Twister doubles against a Pokemon in the charge up stage of Fly.

Dig
User is made invulnerable for one turn, then hits the next turn. Earthquake and Magnitude hit Pokemon on the charge-up turn with double base power.
