every battle will be 3v3 auto lvl 50 or 100.
all 3 pokes must be different.
only 1 focus sash
bugs will be allowed to be switched between battles.
only one of these bugs per team

I think of a really nice post I saw one time on Rules and Etiquette for Competitive Battling.

In other words, be a good sport. You agree to the terms of play before battling, and if you lose, it's usually your own doing. Don't try to pass off someone else's smart play as "cheap" to justify your loss. A loss is a loss, and we should learn and grow from those. Though, it's courteous to give someone a rematch if they ask for it, particularly in the rare case of critical hits all over the place (without high-crit moves).

To me those 2 comments sound as if Ryu would have won if he cared to battled hard enough, first you applied for the tournament, so regardless of getting your gym in order or not you should have brought your A game.

pimen's comment sounds as if, o.k. you did not try against me, well my team I caught 5 minutes before the battle.

My rule of Etiquette on battles and trust me I really had to work at it, is simply don't say it one the forum just yell it at the DS. I got handed 2 loses by a 5-0 and 6-0 spread and I wrongfully made it sound as if they were cheap wins. To which I want to apologize to razorbeam and Flippy for some of my comments after the battle. It hurts being crushed like that when you work so hard on a team. It was not until I beat risingbreeder123 by a count of 6-0 that I knew what razorbeam and Flippy must have felt when they swept my team, the joy of it and then I cheapened it by my comments. I know a score of 6-0 or 5-0 looks like total domination, but you have no idea how hard I had to work to win like that. So I now know the work Flippy and razorbeam put into those battles.

Sorry WCN, I did not want to take this off topic. I just wanted to drop some knowledge that I only recently learned myself.

I was just defeated by Belnumcree.

It was an excellent match, and we brought some suprisingly similar pokemon, but each took them in different directions. I'd like to think had a critical gone another way I might have just eeked it out. But such was not to be.:sad:

Well, for my first match outside of my friends and some random PBR Wi-Fi matchups, I feel pretty good. I took you to your last poke and had them down to half hitpoints before I lost.

my real strategy was to sub until the berry boosted my atk then plus the boot from swarm and an x scissor to get huge damage. endeavor was a last resort move. i cant believe i didnt see all the flaws in my team until now. a baton pass to scizor would have made the battle more winnable for me but i had to choose pinsir:( you had the better team and plan. good job!:D

i agree, this had been so much fun. My first battle with Sharktoothman, was like we basically have the same pokemon . close match. With Narnad, i was able to utilize the moves i intended. ha ha but i made a wrong move by switching out and forgot about those blasted obstacles. ^_^

I figure why spend all the time making a team to play it once. I want to see how well it does against everyone else as well.

Would be neat to set up a tourney, in theory its neat but in real life it wouldn't work unless everyone was committed, where everyone played each other and the best record won. But like I said, everyone would have to be pretty committed for that to work.

To be honest, this is the very first Tourney i have ever joined. i was worried that i might not be able to participate due to my availablity. The way this one is set up is conveniently Great. i mean i was matched to those who i can meet reasonably.
i also agree that it would be more fun to battle everyone and best score to the elimination.
But i dont think it will work. since finding one is hard enough and to find everyone to battle may take a long long time for this to finish. ^_^
