Shiny 760

I just hatched my 760 egg and it was shiny!!!
With the odds being so low, I never thought I would see one!

I was in the midst of breading an impish wall Pokemon when out of no where, this shiny docile Pokemon hatched out of the egg.

As far as one can tell from a lvl 1 Pokemon, I say it at lest average IVs.

I am wondering if I should use it or not?
Is the shiny Pokemon worth the loss in defense?

Yeah, we kinda need to know that since its a big factor on whether you should sacrifice the defense points.

All I can say is that its evolved form ranks in the top 50 of Serebii top 100 defense Pokemon.

Wow, how vague. Well, you did get a Docile nature which does nothing, at least it doesn't minus defense. If I were you, I'd choose the shiny, but I'm not you am I, lol. Maybe you could use the shiny version with the Docile nature and a regular version with an Impish nature.

In the end, I guess it's up to you. You can either keep working at getting a super awesome pkmn stats or you can use your Shiny for the "wth-that's-a-shiney" factor. :D

Perhaps, but I will not just release it like I would with other Pokemon then I don't have a need for.

Whoa! no one said release it! a shiny is like a trophy. you just let it sit there and happily look at it. unless its competitive and in this case its not.

I was not thinking about release it, but I have released a lot of Pokemon I have bread, after all there is not enough room for 760 Pokemon.:(

I may or may not use it, depending on how it compares over all with an impish counterpart.

train both the shiny and the competitive one. you can use the competitive one in real competitive battle, but use the shiny in a fun battle. i'm sure it's good enough to use in a fun battle.

I am sure you would like that, but I will jealousy guard it as it is my first shiny.

well any pokemon you feel dont have any battle value just give to me so i can raise them as one of my own instead of releasing them into the wild where they wont have any other pokemon to be their friends

I have a nice Skarmory that needs a home.
In fact I have 26 Skarmory that need homes.

if its a problem in defense get it pokerus and battle a bunch of geodude to level it up

I did an IV battle with the shiny Pokemon and it had higher defense IV then its impish companions.

Exactly. Though you could still use it in fun matches if you want to use the shiny so badly.
