after writing almost an entire autobiography describing the battle with razorbeam and i
the computer sensed no action and logged me out
that thing was 3 feet long
and i wrote it all just to have the site say refresh the page you have been logged out
suffice it to say it was a glorious battle but razorbeam won

too bad, now no one can see how the drama unfolds on our very last pokemon.
My weakness was your last pokemon, it survived using speed and annoyance. ^_^

Yeah the forum goes by the time you start a post to the time you hit submit. It is better to write your battle in a wordpad or notepad until you go to upload it into the site. That is how I do my Field Journal entries. Also make sure you use Pokemon nicknames or Pokemon 1 while talking about someone else's team. It is just a common battler courtesy not to give away the others team.

My first post I did not say you used any Pokemon names. I was just stating that you should not use them out of respect for your opponent. Having said that, as long as you got permission to use the names from your opponent it is fine. I wrote 2 Field Journal Entries and both opponents said I would use the battle, but not to give out the Pokemon and I just gave them the names Pokemon 1 or Pokemon 2.

Well DD, you were ok, but if you want to get good, you need to do what they call EV training which they have tutorials and information of all kinds on this forum. And maybe some IV breeding (although, some people hand out some pretty good IV'ed pokemon here). And some berries/items on your pokemon would help, i dunno what you had on yours, but i don't think they helped you during that battle. Strategize my friend, and victory will be yours. :D
