I think our Members who have won all 8 badges deserve a lot of recognition. Trust me I've been against most of these Gym leaders :shock: and it isn't easy.

So what I would like is for all members who have achieved this amazing feat to post here, because we don't want to miss any of you. I will try to keep them all updated on this post, and please remember I would like to keep posting here exclusively for Members who have obtained 8 gym badges.

Hopefully I'll be able to add my name to their ranks soon. :-D

I need to sit down and finish my Team to take on the Gyms. I never had any temptation to battle the Gyms and the League. I just wanted to defend my Gym. Then I got asked to be a member of the Elite 4. I don't really feel Elite. The 3 members mentioned above with all 8 badges made me feel less then Elite, so I hope with the team I build for that stage of the game, will stop you all from going to the Champion.

Maybe the the first (West Coast Ninja) winner of eight Gym Badges should be the Champion and the next four winners (Razorbeam) (Nak) (?) (?) be the Elite Four of The Pokefarm?

There could be a knockout system.
If you have eight Badges you can challenge the last person for there title all the way up to Champion.
The Elite Four could also do this of course, with out fear of losing there place.

On the other hand it seems overly complicated, and some think more definite seems appropriate.

I'm with you gamegeezer. The only pokemon I had patience getting all the way to level one hundred w/o cheats was my Swampert in sapphire. That and my rayquaza. Everything else I own goes up to like 60s-80s.

The battle rules are up to the challenger.

The challenger is told the theme of each member of the Elite Four and that is it.

Once they pick their team it remains the same through the whole challenge.

Elite Four themes are described in words, not types. This is the ultimate challenge as you have to battle through five expert trainers who may have wildly different teams. Only the best can win.

Theme means when you assembled your Pokemon you need to give them a title that would give the challenger an idea of what you will be bringing, without actually telling them. My theme will be The Shadowy Swarm.

well if you base it on what the champions who came in the begining used such as a plan to where they can execute perfectly by having pokemon have attacks focusing on the weaknesses of certain types of pokemon that are both commonly used and rarely used ready for anything as well as having pokemon with both difficult to focus and rare weaknesses such as a ghost/dark type pokemon who has no real weakness(which can also be used to make an almost "invincible" pokemon).

Of the people that have all 8 badges, who was your toughest Gym Leader? What one Gym did you have to do more then once?

I wish I could get ahold of all the Gym leaders win/loss records. Rank the Gyms by their win% so people could get an idea of what Gyms are harder and maybe they could start out at the easier Gyms. Not that all the gyms are not tough.

Well might as well make this public. Flippy and juaco have stepped down as Gym Leaders. That means the Cobble and Boulder Gym will be looking for new leaders, just as soon as the other Gym Leaders decide on how to replace them. As far as I know, razorbeam will be coming back to the Cobble Gym at the end of the month.

Jeez we just had a big tournament to decide boulder gym leader and hes gone in 2 weeks. So disapointing. But im glad Juaco could step down before we had to kick him out like so many past leaders.

Has anyone seen the Nickelodeon Kick One Pick One? Also known as KOPO, it is asking families to kick one bad habit and pick one good one. Like instead of eating junk food the family will not eat vegetables like carrot sticks and celery sticks. It ask you to make a list of all the unhealthy things your family does and then make a list of healthy options, kick one of the bad and replace it with one of the good.

I feel bad for Flippy, because i think i pushed hard for him to be involved. I thought it was his chance to shine while i concentrate on a much important part of my life ,school. I guess, that plan crashed for Flippy. :sad:

Members should understand that becoming a Gym Leader is not just the title. It comes with responsibility and dedication on top of our own priorities in life.

Thanks Steve that somehow makes it seem true when the guy in charge of the league says we are all good. I never consider myself good at anything, because I want to be the best and if I never think I am, then I will continue to push myself until I am.

Also since this thread is about those going to the Elite 4 part of the league, you guys make me sick with all your badges and a fancy ribbon he-he. Na seriously though congratulations to everyone with all 8 badges. I know it is not an easy task since some of the Gyms have had Leaders popping in and out, plus there is that whole trying to get the Forest Badge that I know keeps alot of members trying repeatedly to obtain.

You really need to read post in their entirety. I mentioned in another thread about how fast he won the badges and WestCoastNinja stated just a few post ago, that it is possible to get the badges faster now then before since the current Gym Leaders are alot more active.

It is interesting who you end up having the most trouble with. I've found that SoccerGurl22 and I are so evenly matched it's spooky.

Yeah Babael would be my choice. I would think though that the Elite 4 could be members that don't run a Gym or move the best Gym Leaders to Elite 4 status. The Champion to start would be Steve and then the person beating him would replace him. That person would remain champion until someone beat them.

I am just pleased it took him 2 attempts to get the shiny badge from me. Bumbee is an awesome battler and to know that I put up atleast a struggle makes the 2 losses to him kinda o.k. he-he.

Several people defeated me this time around. I ended in the middle of the pack. Positive score overall, but not enough to pull out the win. :sad:

Looking at my performance I broke one of my own rules for baby battling by sacrificing speed for a single uber move that was not 100% accurate. The battles where the move went off I won 2-0, the battles where it didn't I got outran and eaten.

Still kind of kicking myself. I know better than that! But it looks like a lot of folks read my breakdown of strategy from the first two tourneys. Everyone had much faster and more diverse teams. It was a *really* tight tournament.
At the 3/4 mark there were only two points seperating the leaders from the guys in the celler.

I belive that there is a shiney crysalis badge, it was a green Kakuna, but for some reason nobody used it because it looked like and alien. and I think the shiney Gemini badge was also araound at the beginnig, but it only had a gleam, no colour difference. Now they are both gone:eek:
