well, it is a sub forum, so my guess is sub forums are only visible to members and not to guests, which is what you are until you log in. Helps cut down on the crawlbots taking up too much bandwidth.

There is coding you can add to keep the crawlbots out. Google provides a function as well to keep them out. I know you want them to search, but not hog your site.
