Just a small thank you to the people who were kind enough to trade with me today (and also, everyone else!) I feel pretty bad wading into this place and asking for trades right away, but the community here is so friendly and welcoming.

I have to say your Poke Art is great. I'm by no means an artist, however loved to spend my spare time drawing for a good twenty years. I wish I had that kind of creativity. Awesome pics!

Glad you enjoy them! Sorry they're rather scribbly though...I haven't had much time to sit down and draw decently for a long while now. Hopefully that will change soon.

Joeyb - Sure, I need a lot of PKMN! My Pokédex is far from complete. When I've found out exactly what I'm missing, I'll post a thread about it.

Vowl123 - I'm glad you like it, although my corny sparkles make it look more like an underwater scene...! I always liked the shiny blue Mew myself, too. :P

Donnie - I do have a deviantArt account (http://koshizu.deviantart.com) funnily enough! And an animator huh? I wish you good luck with that, I've never been able to break into it personally - I'm currently just self-teaching myself graphic design and illustration. (You live just across the water from me too - I'm surprised there's so many people scattered about the UK and close by here, hahah) :P

Donnie - Yeah, I can imagine you get into a state of completely over-drawn when animating! I find it hard enough when I just do a promotional poster or something, hahah. Do you have a dA account too?
I don't think you're able to use custom avatars here actually, only the preset ones of the PKMN sprites.

Awwwww :( , no i dont hav one everyone else i know has one tho, i hav to start one up but do u know if ur stuff is copyright protected and stuff on there? I was just checkin ur pics more there, seriously they are fantastic, u know that one of the pink dinosaur, was it done on photoshop? And if so how long it take u to do? I really hav to use that program more but i fear computers like the plague :D :D :D

It's really easy to set up an account there. As far as I remember, in the submission form to upload a picture you can choose your Creative Commons license there (it marks whether you allow people to modify or commercially use your work, etc.), also if need be there is an option to generate a dA watermark on your uploads.

I don't often use any of those options though, but they are there if you need them.

And yeah, I drew the pink dinosaur in Photoshop. It's my main weapon of choice with digital art. :D Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you like them. Motivation Get! :P

WestCoastNinja - I was going to do a toothy Sharpedo, but I realised any way I would have drawn it, it would have looked pretty similar to the official Sugimori pics...but I shall attempt it again sometime, I agree. Sharpedo need their teeth to be seen. :D

LadyChaos - I shall get around to a Glaceon as soon as I can.

Wow, I didn't realise so many people would end up putting these in their signatures - if I'd known that I would have offered to draw more minature, 'signature-friendly' sized equivalents! And I love creating signature banners, so what the hey.

If you would like a minature emblem of a PKMN for signature purposes, just stick a reply here with your PKMN of choice and I'll get around to them as soon as I can. I think I have an idea of how to create something small and unobtrusive this way. (;

Clydae - It's alright, I don't mind drawing something 'for free', as it were. If you would like to do an art trade though, I'd be up for it. I don't mind what I get in return (whatever you feel comfortable drawing!) but as a note, my favourite PKMN are Nidoking, Wartortle and Octillery.

That said, I'm working on the requested ones already, I have about four or five more to do, and I'll post them as soon as I'm finished. Thanks for your patience.
