Babael's EV training Service

So, since EVs seem to have so many people confused, I decided to open up a thread where I'll EV train your pokemon for you! All you have to do is give me the pokemon, and tell me where you want to put the EVs. Remember you can only have
the maximum of 252 EVs in a stat, but you can always spread them out more evenly. If you let me choose your EV spread, I'll use the standard 252 in the two most important stats. It also helps if you want to tell me what purpose you want your pokemon to fulfill(physical wall/attacker, special wall/attacker, annoyer, etc...) So to make this easier for me here's the format I'd like you to use when requesting my services.

I'll only be taking a set number of pokemon at a time, probably 2 transactions a day, I'll only be taking 1 EV training project on Saturday since I'm at work. I can't EV train on Friday since I'm working the closing shift So feel free to get a spot. These spots are on a first come first serve basis. If thinks go well, I'll open more spots.

The EV training should be completed the same day your pokemon are assigned.

Note:Please make sure to use stat lowering berries on your pokemon, if they aren't freshly hatched. Make sure they have 0 EVs! Also if you don't pick up your pokemon after a week, I reserve the right to release them, as my box space is precious since I'm also breeder. If your having connection troubles tell me and we'll work something out!

As for Flare Blitz, I only EV train pokemon, not level them up.

Ok, I can EV train your Sneasel, I'll give it the 252 Attack, 252 Speed, and 6 in HP spead. As for learning attacks, we'll see. It'll be good if you can give it pokerus, make sure it's EVs are set at 0.

Jolly and Adamant natures are prefered for Sneasel in general. I prefer mine to be Jolly, you'll need the extra speed to out run things like a Timid Alakazam and so on.

The only thing I have a problem with, once the shiny badges come out would it matter if you bred the Pokemon and did not train it? I know everything in Pokemon is time consuming, but how anyone can have someone else train them? The reason most people stink at battling is because they don;t feel like training their own Pokemon. Now they can be better with help. I think this is a great idea, but maybe it should be offered to members that have a certain number of badges.

I don't know, it is a great helper, I just think alot of people take advantage of the work you do. If all I had to do was breed the Pokemon, then I could breed nonstop and have you EV train them while I try to breed even better ones. I Pokemon are 100% bred, trained, and battled by me. . As far as I know all the Gym Leaders do, besides a few Pokemon here or there that are donated to Gym Leaders, but the training is still done by the Gym Leader.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I was considering closing the thread. I've been busy breeding and EV training my own pokemon. Most of the pokemon I use on my gym team are bred by me aside from two pokemon which we gifted to me, but I ev train them all myself. I think the badge thing is a good idea, but how many? I think what detours a lot of people is the time it take to completely EV train a pokemon, also attaining the power items seems to also detour them. I mean I know Taterbud, and some other members have just been giving them away, so there's really not a reason to not ev train your pokes.

I EV trained my first Gym Team Pokemon in about 3 hours. It helped because I grouped ones together that were getting close to the same EVs. It is only hard if you don't know the tricks involved and I just using Power Items. I don't have the full set yet either or wait maybe I do.

I have no problem with babael providing this service, but when you have people having you train entire teams for them, um yeah. I think the smartest thing we did was make babael a Gym Leader, all that free EV training time will be gone he-he.

So that was your plan.>.> I still have time for like one or two projects. I just kinda got burnt out training pokemon for the same folks over and over again. Especially when they claim to have 8 or more pokemon needing training.

I must say thou that all new additions to my team, are ev trained by me, and all bred by me. And no offence but the pokemon babale ev trained for me are rarley used nower days.

As I understand the thread, people are commenting on how many folks are leapfrogging up the gym ladders because Babael is doing a bunch of the work for them on their Pokemon.

I read BugCatcher6's comments to mean that it is one thing if you have Babael help you with one Pokemon here and there, but what is happening is that people are having her train their entire teams and then challenging the Gyms with them. Which raises the question: How much of that person's success is their own and how much is Babael's?

And Slizer107, I didn't get the sense anyone was going after you.

Now for all to see, I am making this comment and directing it to slizer. You have 2 Gym Badges that is nice, but after 2, 3, or 4 trips to a Gym, you should win a badge. I mean you get a week until you can rechallenge, and fill in weaknesses. Gym Leaders are on tight schedules and don't have a chance to rebuild alot of the time.

In all truth, if you lose at a Gym 1 time, your 2nd trip should be a 90% chance to win, you know what you will see and if you pay enough attention to the battle, there should be no surprises your next time there.


All I meant by my comments is there are multiple Pokemon being trained from a few members, and I don't know about anybody else, but I know my Pokemon are bred and trained by me and that makes me feel great when I use them. I have had some in the past people have gave me, but I never feel like I do when I win with my own Pokemon.
