I am playing Pokemon Battle Revolution...I finished the game and moved on to try my hand at the masters battles...I am not very good at double battles however...too many things going on at one time, and frankly I am not a very good multitasker.

Searching the web resulted in poor results, so I am asking everyone here to post their favorite double battle combinations.

This is what I have so far....

Moves that attack multiple opponents
water spout - wailord
eruption - typhlosion
blizzard - abamosnow,mamoswine,glaceon
heat wave - charizard,growlithe
hyper voice - chatot
rock slide - aerodactyl,tyranitar,armaldo...

Acid
Air Cutter
Bubble
Muddy Water
Powder Snow
Razor Leaf
Swift
Twister

Moves that attack multiple opponents and partner
earthquake
magnitude
explosion
surf
lava plume - typhlosion,magmortor
discharge - rotom,porygon-z,magnezone,manectric,ampharos,Lanturn

Take advantage of the partner hit
Move: Discharge + Ability: Volt Absorb/Motor Drive
Move: Lava Plume + Ability: Flash Fire
Move: Surf + Ability: Water Absorb

WATER ABSORB = Lapras,Mantine,Vapeon,Poliwrath,Quagsire
FLASH FIRE = Arcanine ,Flareon ,Houndoom,Ninetales,Rapidash
VOLT ABSORB = Lanturn,Jolteon
MOTORDRIVE = Electivire

Porygon z and Electivire - Porygon Z uses discharge to raise Electivire's speed

Magmortar and Milotic - Magmortar uses Lava Plume in an attempt to burn Milotic, thus raising its defense stats, making it a better wall?

Mamoswine and Glaceon - Both with Snow Cloak, Mamoswine uses Hail on the first move, Glaceon can then use Blizzard with 100% accuracy.

I'd actually like to try double battles, I've been thinking up some combinations involving Trick Room, hehe. My only issue is that power cut to moves that attack multiple opponents.

don't forget you also have abilities with weather.

Chlorophyll = boosts speed in Sunny Weather. you can have a strong slow grass pokemon combined with a fire type that knows Sunny Day. boom, all of a sudden, the grass type goes first.

swift swim = boosts speed in Rain. Have another water type do it, and wow...the speed is unbelievable.

there are TONS of combinations with double battling and requires much more thought.

I actually wouldn't mind building a completely new team just for double battling :-D

I thought up a strategy and I always wondered if it would work.

Step 1.Send out shedinja and a poke with skill swap. The skill swapper should hold a focus sash just in case.

Step 2. Skill swap on the 1st turn with your shedinja so your other poke gets wonderguard.

Step 3. Hopefully your wonderguard poke survived round 1.If it did switch in a spiritomb and skill swap wonder guard to it. There you have it a fully legit wondertomb!

Im not sure if this would work though. And im too lazy to test it myself:D

That would be realy cool if it worked, though!!! invincible pokemon :D! the enemy would be screwed unless they had skill swap

I haven't tested that either but I've read that skill swap doesn't work with Wonder Guard :(.

There are other options though, on my pokémon to do list there are a few double battle strategies (haven't tested them):

Shedinja and Ditto/Smeargle with Transform - apparently transform doesn't copy HP so Ditto/Smeargle becomes a shedinja with a few hundred in HP

Shuckle + Slaking - Shuckle uses Gastro Acid to remove Slaking's Truant ability, can also safeguard then swagger to raise Slaking's Attack.

Ghost with Swagger + Lickilicky with Explosion and Own Tempo - Ghost uses Swagger on Lickilicky, Lickilicky explodes, powered up STAB explosion wipes out your opponents but doesn't affect your ghost.

You can also play with the obvious imunities. I've had good results with earthquake and a Levitation/Flying partner.

Remind me not to battle any of you in doubles. Your way too devious. :D lol j/k

T-tar + HaxChomp, then switch your Tar with a Levitating/Flying pokemon and watch HaxChomp rampage. I'd like a Trick Room/Sand Storm team.

Everything I ever read shows that Skill Swap would select randomly out of the other 3 Pokemon.

Transform does copy HP. I use a Sing/False Swipe Pokemon and when if I use False Swipe first, and the Ditto transforms into my High level Altaria, the HP is much much higher then the level 24 Ditto should have. I think it is level 24, whatever the level it's HP is higher.

I just tried with a Ditto against some wild pokemon and it kept it's HP each time. Then I tried transforming into a shedinja in a double battle and it had more than 1 HP (couldn't see the amount but I gave it a life orb and it didn't get wiped out from recoil).

I am not sure then. I just tried it in a few battles, but I did not have a Shedinja.

I haven't gotten any replies lately, so I thought I would ask again for more advice.

I'm still working on the Master's Series on PBR. On set 7 out of 8.
Its 4 on 4 lvl 50 double battles.
No ubers; single item clause.

No ubers right...so why does final guy get Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre, Lugia, Wobbuffet and Latias???

My most successful combo is ...
Garchomp+Brightpowder+Swords Dance+Earthquake
and
Tyranitar+Choice Band+Rock Slide

I have also tried...
Porygon-Z+Choice Scarf+Discharge
and
Electivire+Expert Belt

Froslass+Choice Scarf+Hail
and
Glaceon+Choice Specs+Blizzard

The problem is all three of those teams get destroyed by a single earthquake.
I swear the computer cheats!!!

The current team I am having a problem defeating...

Gyarados+Leftovers+Dragon Dance+Earthquake+Waterfall+Ice Fang+INTIMIDATE
and
Aerodactyl+Scope Lens+Earthquake+Stone Edge+Ice Fang

Yeah, that's right; scope lens and for some reason every attack is always critical...the computer cheats!

Let me hear what you got.
