Your rival after a battle does have the right to check your pokemon threw trade to check there level or for hacks. The tournament begins Febuary 4. On this day I will randomly pare you up with someone. After I do this it's up to you to set up the match with your rival. 6 pokemon is the amount

Um first what does it matter if they are level 1-5 if it is going to be a level 50 battle? Second, I thought baby tournament would be either pre-evolved Pokemon or first stage Pokemon. Not downing you, but very weird battle here.

Also the Breeder's Cup is level 1 Pokemon bred by the battler.

that would keep their IV's from taking over in the level 50 battle also

All I was doing was pointing out some odd things. Saying the levels should be 1-5, but you will be battling at level 50 does not make sense.

we could do a free double. So there levels won't jump. And all turn it to just level 1

this could be fun, most things on here dont call for a double battle

I know. I wonder why? Can a gym leader choose to have level 50 doubles? Or do they haft to be a level 50 single?

yes they have to be single
just so the leaders can use their single strategies
they dont have enough time to breed another team and make a new strategy

I would think double battles would take more skill to win in my opinion. But I understand why a gym can't have a differant battle type range

This has just been discussed a few days ago. The reason there is no double Gym is, one the Gym would have to make a double team. 2nd reason is people complain when a Gym is closed, can you image how it would be to make a new team?
