Well nettie and Taterbud were both nominated by WestCoastNinja. I think both of you would make good Gym Leaders. I had 0 battles before being the Beacon Gym Leader.

T roo the list is not finished and we are still discussing things. I would like to find a Gym Leader that is not super tough, but not a push over. The Boulder Gym however is a hard Gym to be a leader in.

The idea behind the Gyms is not to win every battle. That is why we are set in types and people know before hand what Pokemon types we bring. It is not easy, but it is fun and that is what I look for in a Gym Leader. Someone who can be active and someone who can have fun with it.

Well, with those new rules the gym leaders are able to take into account now they do have a lot more freedom on which pokemon they can bring into battle, I mean as long as they have three and three they're okay even if they have three that match both they get three empty spots to fill as they like.

The only options I have is Steel, Ghost, and Water. Alot of toys there to play with, but I just hate having a team filled with all OU Pokemon.

@ Nettie & Taterbud: You guys will do fine. :) I have never really battled competetively until I became Gym Leader. I get nervous and shaky before each match, but it's such a rush being in the middle of the action! :D Why don't you two spar w/ each other for starters? I can help too, if you want. :-D I'm the easiest Leader to take down. :oops: Lol. But I am sure the rest of Pokefarm will be willing to lend a hand as well. :-D

If the Pokemon has two possible abilities then it would be a 50% chance as far as I know.

The Pokemon that can have the ability Serene Grace have to have it from the start. It does not change during evolution unless 1 stage of evolution does not have Serene Grace and the next stage can have it.

idk It was my understanding that if the pre-evo pokemon has the same abilities as the evolved form then the ability would stay the same.

Not sure how you got it to do. I know the info I gave only allows for abilities to change if the evolving Pokemon has a chance to learn a new Ability that it could not learn until evolving.

I remember reading somewhere that there was a small chance to switch abilities, but like Serene Grace is the 2nd choice for Abilities on the Pokemon it is for, so evolving would change to the first Ability easier then the 2nd. Wish I could find the information.

The trash talking that has been going on is beyond annoying. It may be all well and good to you younger members, but try being my age getting trashed talked by a 12 year old. Some of the stuff that has been said to me, well I will stop there.

Was not talking about you. As far as my memory can let me remember, I don't believe you trashed talked in my Gym or towards me.

I mean the members that get beat badly their first time in the Gym and then on their next trip or so they finally manage to win and trash talk like they are the greatest. I have had people beat me ugly on the first trip and never trashed talked.

The more the site grows the more it falls into a Serebii/Smogon class. The only difference is, here the Mods are strict. I think maybe we could look into a Trash Talking infraction.

Here is another thing I do well. I don't care if you don't agree with the infraction. I joke.

You can't reply back to an infraction about hacking and ask is Action Reply hacking and when I say yes, you reply back well I did not use it.

You can't reply to a signature infraction with on my PC my images are not stacked and have me reply well how big is your monitor and what are your screen resolutions, to which you reply I don't know what they are. Have me tell you most people are at 800x600 or 1024x768 and how to find them and you come back and say oh mine is 1280x720 which is the widest setting on most PCs. When my monitor is 19 inches and yours is smaller and I still see stacked images.

If they are still able to speak clearly or still want to be a Gym Leader they win.

Na mine meant I would physically punt, pass, and kick the nominee. I was thinking the same thing. Each Gym Leader could nominate 2 people. Those 2 people would then use one team to battle every Gym Leader and a record for each would be kept. If in case of a tie on wins and loses, you could look at number of Pokemon left after the battle or they could battle it out.

I have no clue this time. A tournament would mean giving members time to build a team for the Gym. I would say, each Gym Leader come up with 2 nominees and give it the forum vote option. 5 Gym Leaders, 2 picks, 10 total nominees, and the polls hold 10 options maximum.

Well if you would read my threads in the icicle gym you would know that I'm closed and opening up this weekend. But of coarse you didn't and you wrongly accuse me!:mad: This week has been busy and I've been training so I haven't been on as much. I'm opening on Monday.
