Battle for Shinies #3!!!

[Shiny Lucario]

It took me a little longer than I thought to do this but here it is (finally). Anyways, this week's shiny is this guy:

:215: Sneasel!!!

Even though its not as hard to get this guy than to get Trapinch or Beldum, he just didn't want to appear as a shiny. One time, to get one shiny I had to reset the Poke Radar over 500 times :mad:. Anyways, after a long time of chaining, I managed to get 24 of him (and her :-D!). So here are their natures, IV's and Hidden Power types and strength:


Jolly (+Speed,-SpAtk):

Jolly is a good nature for Weavile to take full advantage of his great speed.

Adamant (+Atk,-SpAtk):

The next best nature for Weavile if you think his speed is high enough.

Gentle (+SpDef,-Def):

#16: 15/24/0/10/19/31 Water 66
#17: 28/22/31/28/24/19 Poison 38

Just horrible...

Great IV's and I pretty good nature considering that Weavile won't be taking very many hits anyways.

Modest (+SpAtk,-Atk):

#21: 11/28/26/31/31/2 Electric 68

Not the greatest nature for Weavile but if you want to have fun with a special attacking Weavile, here you go.

Careful (+SpAtk,-SpDef):

#22: 13/7/7/14/24/29 Ground 43

Meh...

Impish (+Def,-SpAtk):

#23: 1/19/26/8/20/20 Fighting 33

Wow, (crappy) defense wall anyone?

Quirky (No effect):

If your wondering why these pokemon aren't considered UBER, its because they may have higher base stats then most pokemon but they do not have so big of a movepool to completely dominate in lower classes, like for instance, Mewtwo.

I know I sound like a total noob here, but when you have the level 100 battles you're talking about, if your pokemon are only level 50 or something, will it take them up to level 100? And if so, does it bring your stats up as well?
(Until D/P I hadn't played since R/B/Y so I'm kinda behind on some of these things)

Also, I'd be interested in participating in this battle (unless your pokes have to already be at level 100). How do I sign up?

Yeah, sure it is, but it doesn't matter so much when its a Jolly nature which reduces Special Attack and Sneasel has a horrible base stat for Special Attack as well.

Well, here is an explanation of what the clauses are:

Evasion Clause: You cannot use moves such as Double Team that raise your evasion.
One Hit KO Clause: You cannot use moves that are a OHKO on your opponents pokemon as they rely highly on luck and not skill.
Self-KO Clause: Your last pokemon cannot use moves such as Selfdestruct, Explosion, or Destiny Bond.
Sleep Clause: You can only put one of your opponents pokemon to sleep at a time. This rule does not include the use of 'Rest.'
Species Clause: You can only have one of each pokemon on your team.

Advice: Only go to 40 before you keep reseting your radar for shinies as the chances of shinies appearing don't increase passed 40.
