ive just started my team. im planning electivire and a mence for certain along with a weavile and gallade(maybe).im also having a snorlax and a yanmega for it to.if you people at pokefarm can think of what to use instead of gallade tell me.my thoughts are skarmory but im unsure whether i should use shuckle for a supperior defence stat

Shuckle does have great defenses, just have to be careful with the lack of HP.

The shuckle strategy is way overrated. One, it's really boring, and two, shuckles are sitting ducks to let opposing pokemon set up (dragon dance, calm mind, etc) on them, because shuckles have terrible offensive stats.

I'd use a physical wall, such as skarmory, steelix, donphan, or forretress.

I second the use of a physical wall(Skarmory, Umbreon, Dusknior, Donphan, etc...) or else things like Aerodactyl will rip through your team easily.

Oh dont remind me of areodactyls yh they do have a tendancy to do that lol. I think you also need to tell us the ivs and evs so we can decide based on that aswell.

Suicune's great, though I doubt he'll see much play here due to people not wanting to play with legends.

ive also got a raikou from nettie.eved crappy moveset though. ive got an umbreon to use with wish but i simply dont feel secure using it.

Heres a suggestion for umbreon, Have it as a status killer, they are so hard t get round.

I was kidding with you. lol Umbreon was one of the first Pokemon I used in competitive battle and still do. :D It also makes a great Toxic Staller. lol

Item on Electivire... I'd probably say Expert belt or Life Orb. Depending on the Moveset.

You might want to re-breed your 'Vire, so it can have Cross Chop instead of Low Kick.

im not sure really.low kick varys on weight and most OUs are quite heavy.im packing an infernape anyway so im not really that desperate for cross chop. also are aerodacil any good?

Think about the fact that blissey is only 103 lbs. :shock: lol

Cross Chop is a more consistent move and though low kick does get a nice boost on heavier pokemon. But most of the OU's that weigh enough to make it effective are weak to another move of E-vire or are 4x weak to fighting anyway. Snorlax and Rhyperior being the only exceptions I know of.

I really like Aerodactyl.

ive just checked my ivs on my evire and its got 80 power fighting hidden power making it a possible alternative. when blissey turns up im going to switch to infernape(yanmega replacement)for close combat.
also who should i drop for aerodactil(darn silly name to spell!)

Great Hidden Power. :D Only problem is it's special.

Be careful on those switch ins though. Infernape hates to be T-waved. :D

before i start franticly breeding my porygons what should i replace in my team to make room for porygon Z.also aerodacil need to have a place too so im not sure which 2 to get rid of for these 2.

Wouldn't it be easier to just construct a new team instead of constantly trying to replace a pokemon? It would also give you more variation in battle.

possible but really alot of the pokes are worth it. yanmega and gallade are now subs for a battle but i believe that mence is slightly weaker than a dragonite.am i right?(reason i ask is because i got an adamant dratini off sartory.

Salamence and Dragonite have their own strong point and it really depends on which style you like the most. Salamence may be a little weaker defensive wise but it's speed and special attack are higher than Dragonite. Dragonite is slower but has a bit more staying power, I believe the difference in their attack power is 1 point, so it's a matter of preference.

i can always scarf it.though that leaves me no way of recovering from an outrage. also dragonite learns some support moves(t-wave) which can be a lot of help without my gallade.
my team looks like this now skarmory,nite/mence,porygon Z,aerodactil,snorlax and weavile

Um, I just had to comment on the "80 power fighting Hidden Power." Hidden Power values max out at 70, so it can't be 80. Maybe I misunderstood, but I just had to say that.

really because the iv calculator said 80. any way ive re bred him with cross chop so no problem anymore with that
