I've been breeding Totodile on an off for about a week now, and find myself in a bit of a quandry.
After a great deal of breeding, I have two boys with the following breakdowns
Male #1
IV: 3/31/26/11/30/28
Nature: Jolly
Male #2
IV: 27/31/29/12/31/22
Nature: Quirky
I am going for a Dragon Dancing/Physical sweeper build on these guys. I know that #1 will be faster with a Jolly nature and 28 speed IVs, but his hit point IVs make me sad.
#2 has an overall better IV distribution, but is of a neutral nature.
I can of course keep breeding, but I feel pretty good about these two and would rather pick one to train and move on to IV breeding plugs for a couple other glaring holes in my Pokemon Stable.
So I am throwing it to the community:
Is it better to EV Train for attack and speed on #1 and just accept that he won't have the Hit Points I might wish he did?
Or am I better off training attack on #2, accepting that he won't be super fast and instead focus on tougheng him up by either dumping the rest of his EVs into Hit Points or Defenses?
Or is there an angle I'm not seeing?
