Pokedex Progress

Since we're all here trading away, how are people coming on their pokedexes? I mean, for the most part, that's my motivation for trading, though sometimes I really can't find a pokemon that I really like.

As for me:
365 seen
270 obtained

So I'm a ways away, mostly by evolving. But I'm at least halfway through! I think I'm going to start prioritizing by dex number to keep myself organized, heh.

I've got similar numbers as you: I have 370 seen, and 330 obtained, and most of that has been through trading. At this point the majority of the ones I'm missing are the evolutions; in regards to the first-level Pokemon, I' only missing a handful, but once I have all of them, then the evolutions will probably take a looooong time to complete!!

I did a lot of evolving as I went, so I'm still missing quite a few basic pokemon at the moment. But the evolving does take a very long time. Luckily, I have a team that can beat the Elite Four without too much trouble, so that's a good evolving opportunity.

So now I just need all the basic pokemon, heh.

My biggest problem is I'll start working on one, then I'll get a new one and I'll start working on that one instead, then I'll move to another one, etc. etc. so that I wind up with a bunch of Pokemon that are up 10 or 20 levels, but still have a ways to go before they hit their evolve point. I need to just take each Poke and work on just that one until it's where I want it, or until it's evolved or etc. I still need to make another team and go beat the Elite 4 again myself. So far I've only beaten them the one time and that's been it! Lately I've spent most of my time breeding and trading, so I've fallen a bit behind with a few things, lol!

I have that problem too, but I havn't beat the Elite 4 at all.

The Elite Four is tough!! Make sure everyone on your team is at least in their 50's, level-wise, the higher the better! I went in with everyone right around 50, and I just barely got through them.

.....I have 1 pokemon a level 72 and 1 above level 50. The rest are pretty weak but I've managed to beat the first 3 trainers but at the last one I lose, so I'm taking time to build up a good team by trading, so anyone have some pokemon that are kinda strong and are willing to trade?
