Thank you for tuning-in to Viscous Conservatory! Here at the Viscous Conservatory, we pride ourselves on studying and authenticating the history and evolution of species under the genus Monstrum-pokete, otherwise known as Pokemon. We hope that you will join us in our journey in discovering the secrets and truths behind many legends of Pokemon.

Today's episode brings us to the famous Route 222 of the Sinnoh Region! Every year around this time, hundreds of Remoraid swim from the salty waters of the ocean into the Route 222 delta that is fed by freshwater from the melting snowcaps of Mt. Coronet. This instinct is what drives them to breed and lay their eggs in the freshwaters of the shallow delta before moving back out into the ocean.

For the past century, it has become tradition for fishermen from around Sinnoh to gather at this route and challenge each other to catch the largest Remoraid. Last year, the winning Remoraid was measured to be well over 15 inches. What an amazing feat for such a fishy pokemon! This year's fishing contest is scheduled to run from today, February 23 to Sunday, March 2. We invite all Viscous Conservatory viewers to come by and enjoy the festivities and to take part in this year's Remoraid Fishing Contest!

On Route 222, there is a man who lives in a house on the beach. Next to his house says "Fishing Contest." If you enter his house & show him your Remoraid, he will measure it for you. :)

Please don't reveal your Remoraid size, let's keep it all secret for the contest!

Hey everybody! This is going to be the final weekend for the fishing contest and I have only received 2 entries so far. I would recommend that participants submit their Remoraids sometime this evening since I am unsure of how often I will be online on Saturday & Sunday. If you're afraid that you may still be able to catch a longer Remoraid, don't worry. Anyone can submit multiple Remoraids -- it will only result in me releasing the earlier one.

I can't wait to see what everyone has caught! :D

Would it be okay to send you a video of my DS, looking at when the Remoraid was caught, and then showing it to the dude to get a measurement? Sure! If you're capable of taking some clear video of your DS, go ahead and do it. :) Make sure when you record the video, go through the summary of the remoraid & get a shot of when you show it to the contest man. When you're finished, upload it somewhere and send the link to my PM inbox.
