Story #1
Shiny Charizard vs. Steelix in Victory Road.
Enjoy!
Lighting was dim as I stepped one foot after another. I was joyful, happy. I had just accomplished a great feat; I defeated the last of eight.the final key to the final four. I had my team as ready as they would ever be as I made my way down this road, named victory road after those who had accomplished this feat before me. Down the hill I go. Around the corner, and up the ever going road. To avoid the eyes of another trainer, I wait. In my waiting, I see something. Something…..shiny, sparkly. Something that just caught my attention. Before I knew what I was doing, I was pursuing this, this, object.
Then, suddenly, the object moved. It turned a corner as I chased it full speed. As I turned the corner, my face twisted in fear. I came face to face with a giant of a monster, a Steelix. All I could do was stare as the giants head lifted thirty feet in the air. As the head came down, back at me, towards me at lightning quick speed, I went black. All I saw was black. Pitch dark black, and nothing more. Slowly, very slowly, I started to make the black disappear. Slowly I started to open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I saw more black. But this black was on something. It was on a Charizard. I looked on in terror as my Charizard struggled in the massive jaws of the giant Steelix. Wrestling the jaws of death, just to save me from the ultimate demise. Quickly, I pulled myself together. “Flamethrower!” I shouted. As Charizard held the Stellix’s huge jaws open with its claws and feet, the Steelix rose its massive head high and swung it left to right in the air in attempt to throw the Charizard off of its head. I felt cold as my Charizard went flying through the air, and disappeared in the distance.
I couldn’t move as the Steelix fixed its gaze upon me. Blankly I stared back. Stared into its deep red eyes. Eyes redder than the color red itself. Finally, after several seconds of staring into the deep red eyes of death, I moved. I ran. As I started running, the Steelix took a second charge. I thought I was a goner. I thought I was through. Then, as I turned around to see the Steelix one last time, I screamed. The Steelix’s head was just inches away from my face as it was struck in the side by a blindingly fast fireball. The fireball lifted and carried the massive steel hunk and slammed into a wall of rock, leaving a crater just big enough to fit the enormous steel snake into the wall. A sigh of relief left my throat as I saw my Charizard stumbling around on its feet. Quickly, I called “Return!” and a red streak of light shot Charizard into its Poke ball. As I walked back towards the entrance of the cave, realizing that I had a lot of work to do, something stirred. I turned around to see the Steelix coming towards me slowly. It was injured, but could still hurt me. Thinking quickly and acting from natural reaction, I reached at my belt and pulled off a poke ball. “Go Dragonair! Ice Beam!” I shouted. My Dragonair shot a beam of what appeared to be blue electricity from its snout. It hit the Steelix right on the tip of its tail. As it hit, I realized that the tip of its tail is what it used to lure me to it. The Steelix glared at as I made my run, returning my Dragonair to its poke ball. I could feel the glare on my back as I left the cave. I thought to myself, until we meet again, Steelix, until then.

Very nice. Text RP is something that I greatly appriciate, as an old DnD junkie, and now an online RPer. My only suggestion would be to try and chunk that out into a couple of parapgraphs. It makes for easier reading on the eyes when in online format if it isn't all wall of text-like.

Ooo, I was wondering if anyone else was interested in writing pokemon stories around here, but I never really brought it up. I'm glad you posted yours. :)
First, it was an enjoyable read with an interesting plot. You repeated yourself a couple times very closely together, and while repetition can be a good thing, I think that yours might be too similar. For example, you have: "...I went black. All I saw was black. Pitch dark black, and nothing more." and "I thought I was a goner. I thought I was through."
You also have: "Blankly I stared back. Stared into its deep red eyes. Eyes redder than the color red itself." You could probably mash this all together into one sentence. "Blankly, I stared back into its deep red eyes, redder than the color red itself." Just a suggestion, though. I personally think the "redder than the color red itself" is a little weak for a comparison, but that might just be me nitpicking.
I wasn't immediately aware that the Charizard was actually yours, or where it came from, so I wondered why you were giving it a command.
Anyway, I hope you show us more writing! :)

ahhh, finaly some constructive critisism. i guess i did repeat a little too much, and that it didnt have the dramatic effect i was hoping for. and yes the comparison was weak, but i made it up on the spot and was at a loss for words, i was gonna use something else, but i thought it a little too gory. and the charizard was supposed to be black, i guess i didnt make that stand out too greatly, or the fact that charizard was supposed to have released itself from a pokeball on my belt. all in all, thanks, ill keep it in mind as i write my next story, im thinking something to do with altaria and crobat, maybe ill use it to open up a farm.

Altaria and Crobat parents vs. swarm of Beedrill
It was a dark night. Cold from the storm that had just swept through the night before. Everything was still and quiet. Even the usually loud and obnoxious Crobat nest was still and motionless. Quiet was the Forest of the Flying Beasts, as it had come to be called by the locals. Though the town was miles away, the residents were still very close to the Pokémon of this forest.
Take John for example. He was aspiring to collect the best and strongest of the Dragon Pokémon. He was very close to a couple of the Altaria in the forest, and just yesterday, he discovered that two of the Altaria had laid eggs in a nest high in the tallest tree in the forest, called the Legend Tree. The tree itself was legendary. It was in the very center of the forest, and the most noticeable landmark around. All of the other trees looked exactly the same, lush, green and full of many varieties of fruit, except for this monster of a tree. This tree was much larger, and so much greener. The fruit on the tree seemed to make the tree sparkle; Sparkle with the joy of life.
When morning broke, John finished his breakfast quickly so that he could hurry to the forest to visit the Altaria in hopes of seeing the Altaria’s eggs. When he got there, he could do nothing but stare in shocking horror at what was placed before him.
Placed in front of him was a horde of angry violent Beedrill. There target was high in the Legend Tree. John could only stare in awe. Quickly, he rushed to the tree, facing many Beedrill along the way. He reacted by reaching at his belt and grabbing a pokeball. “Dragonite, I really need your assistance!” shouted John in a desperate attempt to save the Altaria’s nest. Quickly jumping on the Dragonite’s back, he quickly ascended to the top of the tree. Then, he realized what was really going on.
The Crobat’s from the Crobat nest in the cave nearby had come to annoy the Altaria in their nest high in the Legend Tree. Whilst shooting supersonic attacks at the Altaria’s, a stray supersonic had hit a Beedrill nest at the bottom of the Tree. Now the Altaria had the Crobat’s in their nest, covering them with Substitute attacks.
John tried to get his Dragonite to maneuver through the Beedrill to get to the Altaria’s nest to try to protect it, but his Dragonite wasn’t strong enough to stand up to all of the Twineedle and Toxic attacks that the Beedrill kept throwing at them. Whilst trying to defend john and get to the nest, Dragonite soon collapsed from all of the poison. John and Dragonite fell all the way back down to the bottom of the Tree, losing consciousness along the way. When they landed, the Altaria were awestruck. They couldn’t believe what a human and his Pokémon partner were willing to do for the nest of a wild Pokémon. Seeing this, they continued their substitute attacks. Seeing the inspiration of the Altaria’s, the Crobat’s were also inspired to take action.
Their defenses wouldn’t last long; Substitute requires a lot of energy. Soon the Altaria’s would have to Roost for energy. The Crobat’s took full advantage of this moment. They immediately left the nest and started casting Mean Looks at all of the Beedrill whilst dodging all of the attacks thrown at them. When the Altaria’s were done roosting, they started their song of death. At the start of the song, the Crobat used their U-Turn attack to retreat and return to their nest. Safe in their cave they waited, and then there was silence. All of the Beedrill had fallen to the ground, stiff.
The Crobat’s returned to the top of the tree to find the nest empty, except for the few eggs left in the nest. Looking down, the Crobat’s noticed the Altaria’s down on the ground with John and Dragonite. The Crobat’s rushed down to help. Soon, John regained consciousness in time to see the Altaria staring back down at him. Then all looked up as they heard rustling from the nest. John returned Dragonite to its pokeball and hoped on an Altaria’s back till they got to the top of the Legend Tree. John awed as he looked at the freshly hatched Swablu. He thought they looked adorable. Just then, one of the Swablu was pushed aside by all of the others. Feeling hurt, it tried to rush back into the group, just to be rejected and pushed to the side again.
John looked at the Altaria’s; and they nodded in approval. So he reached in his bag and grabbed an empty pokeball. “Don’t worry Swablu, I’ll give you a good home, and we’ll show the rest of them how strong you can really be.” Without noticing that they had left, John had just noticed the return of the Crobat’s. With them they had a Zubat. Stumbling along in the air, it hit a branch as it tried to land next to John. The Crobat’s looked at John with sorrow in their face. Immediately John understood. The Zubat was just like the Swablu, rejected by its siblings. At this, John reached for another empty pokeball. First, he touched the Swablu with one. The pokeball shook only twice and didn’t put up much of a struggle. Then the ball flashed red and stopped moving. Next, he touched the Zubat with an empty pokeball. The same happened.
From that day on, there was quiet in the forest. Never again did the Crobat bother the Altaria. In fact, quite often they would come and visit with their children. The children got along just perfectly, except for the two given to John. They soon surpassed their siblings and were always mean to the weaker ones, but never hostile. John visited often after becoming a champion, just to enjoy the quiet of the forest.

Hi everyone! I finally got access to a school computer and am able to post a partial story. Ive only made it through about half of the story, but I will post what I have. Enjoy!
Dragonte vs. Charizard at the Ultimate Dragon Contest
“Okay! It’s time to start this tournament! The rules are simple, each Trainer can use one and only one Pokémon. That Pokémon must be a dragon type Pokémon, or be considered a dragon Pokémon by the judges. First, our random Trainer matchup system will match you up with a partner. Then you will present the Pokémon you are going to use to the judges. If it is considered a dragon, you will advance to the portion of this contest where you will get to show off your Dragon Pokémon to our audience. After that, we will move on to the battling portion of this contest. If your Pokémon is not considered a dragon, you will have to choose a new Pokémon to present, but failure to present another Pokémon to the judge in less than five minutes earns an instant disqualification. Okay, let’s hear it for our eight contenders!”
John’s heart was pounding as the MC had just finished announcing the rules on stage. The crowd was restless, as this contest only happened once a year. This contest was legendary to the locals of Dragon Valley. Every year, eight trainers were chosen for their skill with the Dragon type Pokémon. This year, John was chosen. This was a great honor, even though victory yielded no prize.
John couldn’t believe that he had been chosen. When he opened his invitation back at pallet town, his jaw nearly hit the floor. He immediately started packing and left the next morning. Sinnoh was a long way away, so he had to leave as early as possible, and travel as light as possible.
John was an adult of 24 years of age. He lived alone and his only modes of transportation were his beloved Dragon Pokémon. He had acquired a roster including Dragonite, he had hatched it his self, Charizard, he got from Prof. Oak, Altaria, he tried to save an egg from a Beedrill attack, Kingdra, he had obtained on a cruise on vacation, and Garchomp, he had obtained whilst lost in Wayward Cave. The only non Dragon Pokémon he had was his Golbat. For some reason, Golbat didn’t fully trust him yet. He obtained his Golbat at the same time he got his Altaria. With these six Pokémon, John has traveled the world doing miscellaneous deeds of glory; but he never thought that his side hero quests would bring him to this tournament. He had only heard of the tournament before, thought he never had any ambitions of being part of it. He had long since lost his dream of being the greatest Dragon trainer to ever exist since a particular event that had come to past, but that’s for another story some other time.
"Okay, present your Pokémon to the judges.” said the MC. “Alright, Go! Dragonite!” shouted Marth, another trainer who had been invited to the tournament. John heart skipped a beat and the audience “ooooed” and “awwwed” as the Dragonite appeared. “And what a pleasant surprise! It appears as though we will be treated to a battle with a Green Dragonite! What a rare event!” shouted the MC the audience went wild as the Dragonite roared for the crowd. Just then, John looked up to see that the giant TV screens that surrounded the upper interior of the massive coliseum. He smirked as he realized that his name had been linked to Marth’s in the tournament style grid. He thought to himself, “Just wait audience, you’re in for a greater surprise than you might think”. The other six trainers presented their Pokémon to the panel of four judges. Then at last it was Johns turn. “Okay, what Pokémon will you be using?” said the MC into the microphone. “Go Charizard.” Said John in a calm voice. The audience was silent as the ferocious beast appeared in the center of the stage. “Wh-wh-well. What a fantastic surprise. It appears as though we will be treated to a battle involving two rare-colored Pokémon.” The audience cheered as the Black Charizard took flight and landed right behind John.
“Alright, let’s commence the tournament start!” shouted the MC into the microphone. The First Match, Sartory vs. Sabelex!” The battle between Sabelex’s Dragonite and Sartory’s Raquaza was marvelous, but in the end, Raquaza was too powerful for Dragonite to handle. Sabelex was congratulated, and kicked out of the arena. The next two battles were quick and decisive. Drakes Salemence vs. Lances Flygon. Flygon was quickly downed with one blow from Salemence’s massive claws. Next was Clair’s Altaria vs. Milo’s Aerodactyle. Aerodactyles speed and quick reactions almost made quick work of Altaria, but just as the finishing Hyper Beam was about to be delivered, Altaria moved out of the way and finished Aerodactyle off with a quick Dragon Pulse/ Ice Beam combo.
John heart pounded as he knew he was next. He knew he was in for a tough battle. Dragonite had many advantages over Charizard. He knew because his Dragonite had helped to train his Charizard since it was a Charmander. Because of this, He figured he might have a chance.
The audience roared as John took center stage along-side his trusted Charizard. Soon after, Marth would join him with Dragonite by side.
“The most anticipated battle of the day is about to begin! This will be a battle between Marths Green Dragonite and Johns Black Charizard! Trainers, take your side of the stage, aaaannd…. BEGIN!”
The crowd let a huge roar as both Pokémon took immediate flight. John looked Marth in his eyes, which were soon covered by his black cape. A cape that john thought was pretty stupid. He wondered what the point of wearing a cape was anyways. He quickly refocused and looked up to see the Dragonite clawlocked with his Charizard. Just then, Charizard spun around and slung Dragonite downwards. Dragonite quickly spread its wings to catch itself and unleashed a wicked Pulse of breath and energy from its mouth.
“Flamethrower!” was the only thing John could manage to say as Charizard just manage to spit molten hot flames at the oncoming Dragon Pulse. John sighed a sign of relief as he realized Charizard had just barely managed to avoid a direct hit. “Focus” he told himself. Just then Dragonite charged at Charizard, body cloaked in a fiery energy.
“Dodge, go to center stage” he told Charizard.
Charizard just barely managed to maneuver out of Dragonites way and land in the center of the stage. Another close one thought John. Focus he had to keep telling himself.
“Dragon Pulse!” shouted John.
Charizard reacted by opening its mouth wide enough to swallow a human whole and unleashing a horrible beam of breath and energy much more massive than Dragonites. Dragonite retaliated with a Dragon Pulse of his own.
John gasped as he stared at the Dragonite. This Dragon Pulse was much bigger than before. At least twice the size of Charizards. He panicked, he would lose for sure. Then the beams made contact.
All was lost in a charred smelling cloud of dust. John heard a thud land behind him. When he turned around, he saw it was his Charizard, standing tall, seemingly uninjured. Had he dodged the beam? What happened? As the cloud cleared up, he saw that in the distance, the Dragonite was just fine standing behind Marth in the same fashion as Charizard standing behind John. Then he heard the crowd cheer. He started looking around confused. Then he realized that the stage was gone.
TO BE CONTINUED.....

Hi everyone! Just got part two of this three part story together. Please feel free to Post your opinion or to critisize my work. Im the only one to actually post on this thread for a long long time! :?
"Ok." John thought to himself. "What now?" he wondered.
"Alright! The judges have decided that a battle of this intensity should be held in the Vally itself." announced the MC. "Also, to ensure the saftey of our wonderful audience, they have also decided to only send John, Marth, two other trainers, the camera crew, and myself."
The audience moaned and booed, but John felt that it was the right thing to do. He could only imagine how he would feel if someone got hurt because of him or one of his Pokemon.
So John, Marth, the two trainers and the five members of the camera crew took off on the backs of thier Dragons (the MC on the back of one of the trainers). On the way there, John noticed the trainer carrying the MC was on the back of a Salamence. If he managed to defeat Marth, Salamence would be a tough match.
Finally they reached an open field about three kilometers away from the arena. It only took the camera crew a short time to get set up. Then, John and Marth took "center stage" in the middle of an open plain.
Once again the mighty Dragons were called out. This time, John had Charizard start out in the middle of Marth and himself. That was a sign of respect to the other riser as he too was expected to sent his Dragon to the same spot so that the Dragons could "shake hands". John took offence when the Dragonite did not meet Charizard. This meant that Marth thought John weak. Without a hint of hesitation, John called Charizard back. He was now eager to start the match.
As soon as the MC said start, John ordered his Charizard to use Dragon Pulse. From where he stood directly behind John, Charizard did exactly as it was told. As the hot blast was launched over his shoulder, the Dragonite took flight. Charizard took off as well, without being told.
"Time to test out that new technique buddy" John thought to him self.
Charizard and Dragonite met in the middle of the plain claw-locked. Each struggled to get the upper hand on the other, to turn them up-side down. John concentrated and thought hard-"Heat Wave! Heat Wave!"
The next thing John saw was his Charizard opening his mouth.
"YES!" John shouted. He was almost sure that Marth had heard him, but there was no reaction.
Charizard grabbed Dragonites claws tightly so that he could not escape as the ball of red hot energy charged in his mouth. FInally, after about a moment or two, Charizard released this energy slowly towards Dragonite. Dragonite let a ferocious roar as the energy came in direct contact with his belly, and then eventually wrapped around his whole body. He twisted his face and tossed his head up in pain. Slowly the energy poured from Charizards mouth. More and more Dragonite squirmed in pain, struggling to get loose.
All the while, John was strategizing. He noticed Marth moving violently, shouting commands at is Dragonite. "Perfect!" John thought.
His plan was simple, but first....
"Let him go." John thought. The command made its way to Charizards thoughts, and he let the Dragonite go.
"Come closer to me" commanded John. The Charizard made its way towards John at a leasurly pace. The Dragonite just kinda stayed ther, knealing and shuddering. "Good, he is burned as well"." thought John.
Suddenly, the Dragonite regained its composure. He stood up tall and looked directly at Charizard. John could see Marth shout something and watched as the Dragonite took flight about a foot above the ground and charged directly at him, cloaked in a red viel.
This was the chance he had been for.
He let the Dragonite get closer and closer. "Hold" he had to command Charizard several times, for he was anxious to counter attack. Then John noticed that the Dragonite was not aimed for Charizard, He was aimed for him. He immediatly took action - He side stepped and let the Dragonite just narrowly avoid him. Then, out of impulse action, He commanded Charizard to fly and jumped on his back.
"Dragon Pulse!" John shouted. No need for thought commands as he knew the rest of the battle would be held in the sky......

Once again, I have not been able to bring my story to an end. Ive come closer to the conclusion, but I am still debating. So untill then, entertain yourselves with this little piece of literature.
Charizard took to the sky which allowed Dragonite a chance to go pick up Marth. Together they rose higher and higher until they were both in the clouds. John wheezed as he realized how thin the air was so high above the ground. He noticed the other Dragon Pokemon and their trainers pull up around them, along with the camera crew.
“They don’t want to miss this” he thought to himself.
Then he noticed Marth breathing heavy. John thought that he must be suffering as well. John wanted to shout an attack as he noticed one of the trainers easing towards him. The only thing that stopped him was that he noticed that another Trainer was approaching Marth as well.
“The officials think that you should land and continue the fight on the ground. They fear for your life.” The trainer said.
He contemplated an answer. Then he saw Marth shout a command at his Dragonite. Shortly after the command, Dragonite took a massive claw and slapped the messenger that was sent to relay the message to him. The messenger and his Dragon, an Altaria, were soon plummeting to the Earth at an alarming rate. He was soon rescued by one of the other trainers, but the fact Marth would stoop so low was enraging. Without warning or hesitation, Charizard charged the Dragonite.
Dragonite was quick to react, dodging to the left and slashing away with his claws. Charizard was only just barely able to maneuver out of the way. Then Charizard took off at maximum speed, Dragonite close behind. John heard Marth shout a command and had little time to brace himself as Charizard barrel rolled to the left.
Charizard was quick to react, turning his barrel roll into a full 180 degree turn and unleashing a quick Dragon Pulse. Dragonite countered with a barrel roll of his own, and then he closed the gap between him and Charizard and locked claws once again. John contemplated another Heat Wave, but didn’t want to injure Marth. He had to think quickly before he was overturned.
They struggled for a long time; every now and then Charizard would gain the upper hand, only to be put back in place by the stronger Dragonite. Thinking, John quickly ordered Charizard to do another Dragon Pulse, hoping to unnerve Marth. Marth must have heard John because he ordered Dragonite to do a Dragon Pulse as well.
The blast separated Charizard and Dragonite, sending them flying in opposite directions. Dragonite was the first to recover and was soon charging at Charizard at top speed. Charizard was falling fast, struggling to regain control of his bodily functions. When all seemed back to normal, Charizard spread his wings and regained some of the lost altitude. Suddenly, John felt a huge force slam into him. It was Charizard, the result of Dragonite slamming into him caused him to slam into John and they were both plummeting to earth. John was losing consciousness. He could feel himself slipping into darkness.
Charizard felt the consciousness of John slipping away. Suddenly, he gained strength he didn’t know he had. He grabbed Dragonite by the neck and spun so that he was on top. He then took his other claw and slashed away at Dragonites face. Dragonite roared in pain and struggled to get lose. He grabbed Charizards claw and struggled to break it free of his neck. He struggled to no avail because Charizards grip was iron tight.
During all of the roaring and slashing, John regained consciousness. He was pleased to see that Charizard was handling the situation and was thankful for the strong bond that they shared.
“Let him g-“ John was in the middle of saying when he noticed Marth making a motion towards his belt.
“GET OUT OF THERE!” John shouted at Charizard.
With a white flash Marth had unleashed another Pokemon. Charizard quickly loosened his grip and took off. John looked over his shoulder and saw that they were being pursued by Marths Dragonite and a Salamence with a black scare over its right eye.

Ug. still no conclusion. I have decided to add another character however. She is a trainer. I appologize if the conclusion seems to be taking so long. Im still debating on the ending.
Part 4
John ordered Charizard to flee as fast as possible. They took to the narrow canyons in the valley. John decided that allowing the camera crew film a glorious battle was no longer a priority. He was strategizing now. Many battle sequences ran through his head, all ending in defeat for him if he didn’t call on another Pokemon for assistance. He was determined not to stoop to Marths level. He was determined to win on skill alone, not cheating. He glanced over his shoulder and noticed that the Dragonite was getting much closer.
A roar was unleashed from above him. He and Charizard both looked up to see the Salamence flying above them, slowly descending towards their location.
Salamence was fast. John knew this would be a problem. He thought of any way that he could escape, but for now the only was he could go was forward.
A claw nearly made its way to Charizards tail before Charizard spun out of the way. John saw that the Dragonite had managed to get close enough to touch. He ordered Charizard to do just that.
“Dragon Claw!” John thought. The less that the opponent knew, the better; even at a close range.
Charizards claw quickly made its way to Dragonites face. Dragonite writhed in pain as the claws made their way across his face. He let a ferocious roar and stalled some, allowing Charizard a chance to escape.
His chance was cut short by the Salamence, which had taken advantage of the stall Dragonite had caused. John noticed Marth on Salamences back and wondered when Marth had switched. That didn’t matter now though. The Salamence was quick to act, unleashing a vortex of water directly at Charizard. Charizard barrel rolled and the Hydro Pump hit the Dragonite that was trying to sneak up on Charizard. Dragonite shook it off and went to immediately pursue the Charizard that was now escaping.
Dragonite quickly caught up, being much faster without having to carry Marth. Although Dragonite was faster, Charizard had better reactions. Without any command, he turned and stopped in mid-flight. Dragonite was surprised and flew right past Charizard. Salamence soon caught up and was assaulting Charizard. He was trying to down Charizard with a series of Dragon Claws. Charizard was just barely fast enough to duck and dodge each one of them. Charizard slowly started backing up and was getting ready to flee again when Dragonite caught him from behind.
Dragonite grabbed Charizards wings and held on to them tight. The Salamence took this opportunity to slash away at Charizards wide open mid-section. John flinched as he felt Charizards pain with every hit that struck him. He was motioning towards his belt. He couldn’t take it anymore; he was going to put an end to all of the suffering that Charizard was going through, even if it meant losing his honor.
He grabbed a round half white and red Poke ball from his belt and was getting ready to unleash the Pokemon contained inside when something caught his eye. It was a feint glimmer coming from underneath him. The sparkle was so beautiful and mesmerizing that he almost forgot that he was being pulverized into nothingness. Closer more beautiful, the sparkle made its way towards John and his beloved Charizard. As the glimmering sparkling object got closer, it got bigger. It eventually took a light blue-ish hue. Then John noticed that the object sparkled all over, like a crystal shimmering in glorious light.
The shimmering object made its way towards them without Marth of any of his Pokemon noticing. When the object finally reached its way to them, it was plain blue and so sparkly that the sight nearly blinded John. It was an ice beam that had been fired from below John.
The Ice Beam attack struck Dragonite right in the stomach and allowed Charizard the chance to escape once again. Salamence was soon tailing the exhausted Charizard; he barely had the strength to maintain flight. Another Ice Beam made its way to Salamences chest and allowed John the time to gather his thoughts. Both of his enemies had retreated a few yards back, bewildered. John couldn’t help but share their feelings; he wanted to know what was going on. He soon got his answer.

WHOOO HOOO! An ending draws ever so close, but it is so faaarrr away! I cant believe that I still dont have an ending, but with the introduction of the new character, I have alot more to explain. So to all of my faithful readers, or my faithful reader (as far as I know), I present you with the following:
P.S. I spent alot of time on my sig, that quote to be exact, please leave your opinion if you dont mind.
Chapter 5
A sudden mental image of his childhood friend Shae appreared in his head. He remembered her sky blue hair fall about waist length behind her lovely body. Her soft and delicate face as he last remembered it from so many years ago. He wondered what it meant.
He soon stoped wondering as an Alakazam was suddenly floating at his side, with its eyes closed.
"ALA!" it shouted.
John was almost ready to react when he saw another figure floating alongside the Alakazam. It was a Froslass.
"This is too weird, neither Froslass nor Alakazam can fly, or hover this high as far as I know. How did they get all of the way up here?" John thought to himself and Charizard. John took the silence Charizard provided as he didnt know either.
"So John, got in over your head as usual. Hmph, typical that I should have to come bail you out."
The soft voice comming from behind Froslass shocked everyone. John even felt Charizard jump.
"Who is this John?" Marth demanded harshly. It was the first time John had actually heard his voice. Contrary to what one might think by his actions, his voice was kind, almost inviting.
"I wouldnt tell you even if I knew."
With that comment Marths Dragonite started to charge at Charizard only to be cut short by another Ice Beam fired off by Froslass.
When Froslass fired the Ice Beam, it tilted its body so that John could see a part of its back. On Froslasses back, was a trainer. John knew immediatly what had happened.
He could see the tiniest glimps of blue and knew it had to be Shae. He then knew that Alakazam was the one who sent him the mental image.
"Shae?"
"Duh, who else? I have been living at the vally for a while and saw that you were going to be in the tournament. I decided that I would watch you battle and finally meet you again. Of course, I never thought that your battle would turn out like this and that you would actually need my help....Again." The voice replied from behind Froslass. While Shae spoke, Froslass turned revealing a beautiful young woman with short, shoulder lenght baby blue hair sitting on Froslasses back.
"I didnt know the battle would turn out like this either, but I didnt need your help."
"I dont have time for this;" shouted Marth. "OUTRAGE!"
Dragonite suddenly began glowing orange, his eyes turned yellow and he let a ferocious raor. He charged at Charizard with immense speed.
"Reflect!" shouted Shae quickly
Alakazam opened its, wich were glowing white, and suddenly a clear window appeared in front of John. Dragonite collided with it and went about clobbering it with all of his might. John heard a loud crack followed shortly by Shaes angelic voice shouting protect.
Froslass was suddenly in between Charizard and Dragonite. then a bluish force feild surrounded Charizard, Froslass, and Alakazam. Dragonite continued to smash the first barrier until it broke, then went to work on the second. The second held until Dragonite tired out. When Dragonite calmed down, he slowly hovered back to Marth, who looked furious.
"Worthless" muttered Marth.
"What did you say?" Demanded John in a harsh tone.
"You heard me, I called it WORT-"
Dragonit let a huge roar and turned towards Marth. It charged and Salamence was forced to take off at top speed. Dragonit gave immediate chase, rampaging and roaring about. John orderd Charizard to give chase and was reaching into his bag. The two other slower dragons were easy to catch, but, as usual, the hard part comes next.
"Over here!" John shouted at the Dragonite. With its brilliand green sheen, it turned its attention towards John. It charged and John held his ground, not moving an inch. Patiently Charizard did as it was told and didnt move as the enraged Dragonite quickly closed the gap between them. When the Dragonite was close enough to touch, Charizard quickly grabbed Dragonite by the throat with one claw and slashed its face with the other. Dragonite let a painful roar escape his throught as John took this oportunity to slip his persim berry down Dragonites throat.
Charizard released Dragonite and returned back to Froslasses side. Dragonite returned to Marth, who was just returning to the battle field after flying away and not looking back.
"Ha, you dont even know how to take care of your dragons. You call yourself a Dragon Trainer, and you flew away at the site of your own Dragonite rampaging from confusion. I think that you are not actually a Dragon Trainer. You dont have a clue as to what you are doing. To call a rare Green Dragonite worthless proves it. To call any dragon worthless proves it." The smug expression on Johns face as he said those words enraged Marth.
"What do you know?! You dont know me! You dont know what I've been through, or what I've done to be here! And you must not know what I'll do in order to stay here! Double Hyper Beam!"
Dragonite and Salamence both took deep breaths and opened their mouths wide. Then they both let lose a massive rainbow colored beam towards John and Charizard.
"PROTECT!"
A blue barrier surrounded John and Charizard, but it was too late, the beam was already inside the barriers radius.
