So, which one of these powerhouses is your favorite?
Back when I was little, I was a big Articuno fan, probably due to aesthetics, mostly. When Mew was released in the Us it quickly became my absolute favorite. I was never a Mewtwo fan.
When second generation games came out, I still had my mew, but was a fan of the legendary dog Raikou (and later Suicune with Crystal) as well as Lugia. Again, I was never a fan of Ho-oh. Also, when Celebi was released, I didn't feel the vibe of obsession that had surrounded mew, so I didn't go to any lengths to get it.
I was late to get the third generation games, but I must say that the Regis are boring for me. Didn't care for them. Rayquaza definitely wins this round, though Groudon and Kyogre are pretty cool. Jirachi struck me the same was as Celebi, but I thought it was pretty cute anyway. But best of all are Latias and Latios. Well, just Latias, in my opinion.
I think the fourth generation has a few too many legendaries. Heatran, Cresselia, and Giratina- while really cool- are a bit excessive. Palkia and Dialga are pretty cool, but they didn't have quite the role in these games as previous, in my opinion, and I didn't feel bad about leaving my Dialga in its box. They are too big and too extravagant to really connect with them. The three psychic pokemon also pale in comparison to the other trios. I mean, they are ALL psychic! I think the pokemon world has enough psychic legendaries, thank you. But I am excited about the three (again, too many) unobtainables. Shaymin is so adorable, I just wish I could carry one around with me. Arceus is cool, but threatens Mew's title of pokemon creator, which I'm not happy about, but he's still pretty awesome. And I wasn't excited about Darkrai until I got a legit movie Darkrai, and man in that thing awesome. But Manaphy is just... eh. Same with Regigigas.
So for me it comes down to this: Mew, then the adorable Latias, Rayquaza. Top three right there. Bottom three: Regis, Celebi, Manaphy/Phione.
So now it's your turn- how do you stack the ubers?
