So, which one of these powerhouses is your favorite?

Back when I was little, I was a big Articuno fan, probably due to aesthetics, mostly. When Mew was released in the Us it quickly became my absolute favorite. I was never a Mewtwo fan.

When second generation games came out, I still had my mew, but was a fan of the legendary dog Raikou (and later Suicune with Crystal) as well as Lugia. Again, I was never a fan of Ho-oh. Also, when Celebi was released, I didn't feel the vibe of obsession that had surrounded mew, so I didn't go to any lengths to get it.

I was late to get the third generation games, but I must say that the Regis are boring for me. Didn't care for them. Rayquaza definitely wins this round, though Groudon and Kyogre are pretty cool. Jirachi struck me the same was as Celebi, but I thought it was pretty cute anyway. But best of all are Latias and Latios. Well, just Latias, in my opinion.

I think the fourth generation has a few too many legendaries. Heatran, Cresselia, and Giratina- while really cool- are a bit excessive. Palkia and Dialga are pretty cool, but they didn't have quite the role in these games as previous, in my opinion, and I didn't feel bad about leaving my Dialga in its box. They are too big and too extravagant to really connect with them. The three psychic pokemon also pale in comparison to the other trios. I mean, they are ALL psychic! I think the pokemon world has enough psychic legendaries, thank you. But I am excited about the three (again, too many) unobtainables. Shaymin is so adorable, I just wish I could carry one around with me. Arceus is cool, but threatens Mew's title of pokemon creator, which I'm not happy about, but he's still pretty awesome. And I wasn't excited about Darkrai until I got a legit movie Darkrai, and man in that thing awesome. But Manaphy is just... eh. Same with Regigigas.

So for me it comes down to this: Mew, then the adorable Latias, Rayquaza. Top three right there. Bottom three: Regis, Celebi, Manaphy/Phione.

So now it's your turn- how do you stack the ubers?

I'm going to have to go first gen and say mew and mewtwo.

I didn't pick up pokemon until Pearl again. So i have no partiality towards the others. Although I do like those latios latias, i just have no clue what they are.

This is my first pokemon game, so my first legendary is Dialga. So that's my favorite

Well, I will always adore the legendary birds. Articuno was my first legendary, and it was sooo exciting when I caught it lol! I tend to prefer articuno and zapdos over moltres, Not sure why. Mewtwo always gave me the creeps, but in a good way. The unknown dungeon generally just gave me the creeps lol! I don't dislike him, but I'm not a huuuge fan or anything. Mew, on the other hand ... I used the infamous glitch in my red versionto aquire it and have loved it ever since. This is why I chose the first generation legendarys - 4 1/2 out of 5, not bad eh?

Johto would definately have to be a close second, however. This is because, like clydae, I love raikou! I like suicune too, not especially fussed about entei, but by no means do I dislike him ^^ And when pokemon 2000 the movie came out, I kinda fell in love with Lugia. He was also my first legendary of Johto, so ... yeah. Celebi and ho-oh - can take 'em or leave 'em. Celebi really doesn't interest me.

3rd generation is preeetty close too - I love Kyogre, latios and latias, groudon is ok, as is rayquaza, and Deoxys is pretty cool. Jirachi - well, just cute. regis - never really appealed to me. They don't look alive! lol

4th and current gen - I have mixed feelings. Lots of em. When the games first came out and I saw that I had to choose between palkia and dialga, for some reason my mind was set on dialga. But now I have diamond, I find myself more drawn to palkia ... lol! The three psychics - well, they're okaaay, nothing special. Giratina, darkrai and arceus ... well the first two, they're okay but agained, I'm not fussed. Arceus sorta creeps me out in the same way mewtwo did, the whole story behind him ... plus I think he looks pretty eery ... Shaymin, I'm not sure ... no offence to the little hedgehog, 'cause it IS kinda cute, but it seems to me that the designers were running out of ideas ... DON'T KILL ME PEOPLE!

All in all, I think that the originals always tend to have a special place in our hearts, but also after some time I find that I learn to love the newer generations like I loved the old ones :D

I like dragon pokemon in general and palkia and dialga are really cool in their design but Rayquaza is the best for me, it looks like those long snake like chinese dragons and i loved the way it had a bigger role in pokemon emerald being a mediator between groudon and kyogre.

Personally I was a big fan of the Legendary Birds. I fisrt saw them in Pokemon Red and Blue, and they were a nightmare to catch. If you didn't use an Ultra or Master ball, the ball would miss!

I always have and always will love the Legendary Birds. :3
I love Mew and Mewtwo as well.
I think the first 151 pokemon will always be the best in my mind.

Having said that, I really love Lugia and Suicune too.
Not so much Ho-oh, Raikou and Entei though. I never really bothered with them.

I've never had a single third gen legendary. I don't really like the third gen pokes too much.

I don't really like the newest set of legendaries either.
I quite like the Trio, but only because they're really cute looking. In battle I don't really find that they're much help. Dialga and Palkia are a lot less powerful than I expected too.
I don't actually have any of the others. I don't want Heatran and Giratina, they're really creepy looking. I want Cresselia but haven't bothered to go and get it yet. The event pokemon are just there really. Like someone else has said, there's way too many.

Anyway. First gen are by far the best. Closely followed by the Johto legendaries. :)

Rayquaza is my all time favorite. The Legendary Birds were really cool as well... Especially Articuno.
