Chapter 2- The Wounded Caterpie
Buizel and I walked across a deserted road, we looked around to see any poekmon but there were none. Thou the greenery around the road were a site to behold. Shinto was well known for its beauty.
I saw a forest in the distance; both buizel and me ran to the forest. But suddenly buizell had water appear from around his feet, and he zoomed into the forest without me.
‘Well, I no I should be worried that I just lost my buizel but… HE JUST USED AQUA JET!’ I said to myself.
I now new what my buizel could do, but it was the wrong time to use it. Now I had to search for buizel. I headed into the forest, shouted ‘BUIZEL’ many times, but no response.
‘Looking for a buizel by any chance’ a mysterious voice said.
I turned around and noticed it was a boy around my age; he had a pidgey on his shoulder, a black t-shirt on, grey trousers and black hair.
‘I saw one run past me 2 minutes ago’ The boy explained ‘I think it stopped about 200 yards away, as I heard a big thud in the distance, plus I saw a dust cloud’
‘Thanks, but who exactly are you?’ I asked
‘I’m Blake, and I want to be a top pokemon coordinator, and you?’ He replied.
‘I’m Matthew, and that buizel, well I haven’t nick named him yet I really need to’ I replied.
‘Well why don’t I help you find buizel?’ He offered.
‘Ok, I need all the help I can get, I’m just a beginner, just my luck to lose my pokemon on the first day’ I explained.
We walked about 100 yards and we heard the cry of buizel, but also the cry of another pokemon. We ran to the mysterious noise, and we found buizel with a wounded caterpie.
‘There’s a pokemon center just outside of the forest. But there’s a swarm of beedrill guarding the exit! Is buizel up to battling?’ Blake explained.
‘I’m not sure but his aqua jet could get some fast hits in’ I exclaimed.
We ran towards the exit, caterpie in my arms, I wasn’t sure how ill it was but it needed help. I asked buizel to go up into the trees and keep look out for both beedrill and the pokemon center. Then before buizel could cry to say they were coming, the beedrill swarm came at us.
‘Buizel use aqua jet at the beedrill’ I shouted
Beedrill were going down faster than I could blink. But then a beedrill got buizel with a fury attack. Then suddenly a string shot came out from caterpie. It strung the beedrill down und up.
‘Pidgey help buizel’ Shouted Blake.
Pidgey came in with an aerial ace, buizel, and then surprisingly used bubble. After a few more attacks the beedrill swarm was defeated. We ran to the pokemon center, and we healed caterpie. After caterpie was healed, we tried to take him back to the forest but every time we tried to put it back it string shouted me.
‘Hay does this mean you want to come with me?’ I asked caterpie.
Caterpie nodded but then jumped into a battling position.
‘Ok, lets battle then’ I decided ‘come on buizel use bubble at caterpie’
Caterpie used string shot and broke all the bubbles then jumped and used tackle at buizel whilst using string shot.
‘Man that string shot is useful’ I exclaimed.
After an aqua jet and a few bubbles, caterpie was tired but so was buizel. I remembered mum had packed me 5 poke balls, I threw one at caterpie, and it worked.
‘Yes I caught a caterpie’ I shouted at the top of my voice.
I started dancing, and then notice Blake walking off.
‘Hay Blake why don’t you come with me two?’ I suggested
‘Ok, so your going for gym badges, I’m going for contests, good combo lets go’ Blake announced.
